I recently got married and during my wedding preps I visited Asiana Couture since I had come across reviews of their store. I did a round of some of the stores 7 months before the wedding, to understand what is available in the market, what I like/dislike, the budget range etc. One of the stores was Asiana Couture. I took an appointment and visited the store. The store owner Ankit Keyal wasn't particularly warm but his staff was good and showed us wedding/sangeet lehengas with great interest. They were very hospitable and kept offering us food etc. I really liked the store and shortlisted it. A month or two later (on a saturday) I took another appointment to look at my wedding lehenga seriously and went to their store to shortlist a few lehengas. The second time, their interest level was much lower and they seemed too desperate to make us finalise. We finally narrowed down to 2 lehengas and told them that we would come back the next day (with my sister) to finalise. But this just completely changed their body language. The owner sent his wife Payal to speak with us?!? The salesman started talking rudely to us and said that this is already your second visit, we can't keep doing this. I told him very politely that we are buying something worth over a lakh so he shouldn't really push us to make a decision. In that much time the owner Ankit also came and said that this isn't right, we can't take up this much time. I was appalled by their behaviour and decided to walk out of the store - because I found the entire episode ridiculous, even though I really liked their lehenga. I honestly felt the owners at Asiana Couture have too much attitude. They need to realise that customers have multiple options in a city like Delhi. I am hugely disappointed by their rude and impolite behaviour and will definitely not recommend the store to anyone!!
