The most horrific experience I have EVER had. She is not even a designer. I made a trip to Delhi for my bridal outfits and because of her I wish I just stuck to Bombay. Delhi has great stuff but the stress and anxiety you go through when you go to unverified vendors like her is so not worth the few thousands you are trying to save. Trust me I mean it, she really made me go through a shit time. I was looking to get my Sangeet Outfit and had shortlisted 2-3 outfits one of which was from Blush at Shahpurjat. When we went back to her store , she wasn't at the store and her staff called her to let her know we were interested and had a few questions about the outfit. She seemed least bothered and when the phone got disconnected due to an apparent signal problem , she didn't even call back to further the conversation. Regardless, I had a day left and decided that to go with Blush. Biggest Mistake ever. I tried something off the rack and the only customization I asked for was to have 1. The outfit more fitted on the waist and a slightly easier flow 2. Adding booties to the ends to give it more of a bridal look 3. Dupatta to have tassles. She mentioned the outfit needed to be drycleaned and the color would be slightly different from what we are seeing and I very well understand lighting and difference in color. What I chose was a greyish/silver moving to green. What I got was an actual green color horrible lehenga. There is one thing you need to remember, trust your vendor and supplier completely and if you don't have a good feeling from the beginning, its absolutely OKAY to cancel or change last minute. I wish I did. Along the way, I kept asking her for pictures and she kept following up for her remaining money. The only picture I got from her was of the sequins close up - one patch. Since I do not live in India , I told her my aunt will come to give you the rest of the payment once she has seen if the outfit is fine. Despite that I kept asking her to send me pictures. My aunt was not the one wearing it or would have no idea of what the outfit looks like. She messages me after and says she received the payment and has already couriered. I told her I asked for pictures which I never got . She said she got my aunt to compare it with the outfit at the shop and she has approved it. I never sent my aunt to go approve an outfit. She is a rude person, she will not accept her mistake and is even stand offish about it. She gave me a cheap product with drawings of the work still on the lehenga, stuck on sequins on the dupatta instead of stitching, super cheap tassles. The sequins were falling off in my hand and on the bed. The blouse is so cheap looking, I couldn't even move my hands in it. I mean even the embroidery was darker. She will lie. A month before my wedding, I sent it back to her, received it and it was still the worst. She wrote to me that it was drycleaned, I told her it looks absolutely crumbled and still has drawings on it and she then said it hadn't been drycleaned. The best part is she blamed me for the can can being ruined because the courier gave it back in a tiny box. She said it was my fault and my aunt approved it and when I told her to actually show the outfit at her store on the rack and compare it with the one she has given me, she said she sold it - Mind you, she said she can't sell that piece. I was helpless and even asked her to return half my amount , not the full amount, half of it, she had the audacity to tell me to send her the lehenga again but will not give back to money. A week or two before my actual wedding. She is a joke. I thought I would get it fixed and work it out because I had lost 60,000 INR and did not have the heart to throw money on another outfit. When I bought the Sangeet outfit, it was because I liked it and was under my budget. I wouldn't mind spending 80,000 on something different - popular designer or not. Even my tailor was shocked at what I got and said someone's royally cheated you. I literally could not stop crying everytime I saw the outfit. I cannot even wear it for another person's wedding. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Brides, do not go to her, for those who have had a great experience with her, I don't know if this is just my case but I cannot repeat for the life of my how stressful it was. My entire family was angry and shocked at how bad it was. I even had my husband cordinate the color with me while the color she gave me was exactly the same as my sister was wearing. Finally I had to get something off the rack last minute, unplanned. I will never get this day back and while I would like to think that the money went to charity or got lost, truth is she still has it and I have this horrible lehenga with me. My fault and lesson learned.
