Unlike my friends who got married in the same city they lived and took makeup trials, I had to trust the reviews and take this leap of faith. I stumbled upon Avnika's profile and I'm every bit glad that I did. We discussed both my looks days in advance and I was actually looking forward to getting ready with her. I carried my morning engagement look way into the day for other functions of mehendi and haldi and the makeup did not budge at all even after 11-12 hours. I got her reference. I am really unsatisfied how she managed 3 clients at the same time. She hardly made any effort to see what kind of makeup will suit her specific customer. Meanwhile she did my makeup and other too. Even the nail paint got scratched. I feel people exaggerate her work. If she wasn't free, should have told me. Unhappy!! Client.

Hi, I trusted avnika for my engagement and wedding day. Make up was very good because she does it very professionally but when it comes to hairdo her staff does it and it was almost same or both the days despite specifically mentioning that I wanted it to be different. On engagement day my curls actually got it opened and it was looking simple hair with opened clutch. Curls did not even last for one hour . And on wedding, while my makeup was fine, my hairdo was not suiting my face and was same as previous day. Disappointed with that.

You can't imagine the troubles the Bride faces when she's getting married in an unknown city. The biggest concern being to find a good makeup artist who does justice to your look on your big day. I'm glad I found Avnika and she did an excellent job. She was the only makeup artist who actually listened and understood my requirements for makeup. The makeup was exactly the amount I wanted, looked so natural and blended with my skin. I found many MUA, even booked one by paying advance but I wasn't ready to allow her to my makeup. My Fiance found Avnika on Instagram and suggested me, that's how I found her. After talking to her on call for more than an hour, I was pretty sure she'd do a better job. Now, on the day of the wedding, she wasnt feeling okay but she arrived on time, finished my makeup very well and even waited long as my mom was still not at venue for getting her hairs done. She wasn't able to stand for long still when I insisted she did my mom's hairs. I have to say it's hard to find such a professional MUA. She was simply amazing at her job.
