i loved the aesthetics of a picture i saw online and followed it to wed me good which led me to deepakshi!! her style really spoke to me and although she wasnt doing maternity shoots i thought of taking a chance and reached out to her! we connected instantly!! she was very understanding of my vision and my reluctant participant of a hubby hehe! even when our initial plans for the shoot went sideways, she was the one reassuring me !! and boy did she deliver!! first time in 11 years a shoot got a reaction from my husband! Final product is excellent. However the delivery process is not up to mark. Very mediocre products delivered initially and only post follow up was the quality altered drastically. Suggests a process issue which needs sorting out. But all in all SATISFIED and HAPPY with the final output. They do listen to your inputs and incorporate the same. We hired the services of Lilac Weddings to cover my entire wedding. The experience with them was fine. I appreciate their efforts and hard work but I still feel that there is some room for improvement in their photography. The candid shots came out to exceptionally amazing and I am very impressed by that. But the traditional photography of the bride and groom was very mediocre. I would say the output was okayish and I wasn't very happy with that. The pictures and videos were delivered to me in time though.

Lilac weddings, ah! As a bride to be, I had it pictured in my mind the kind of photos I'd want. For me, it was imperative that the team of photographers I chose understood exactly how I'™d want my wedding to be captured. When I shared my idea (involving more of fun and less of cheese), she took every word of it seriously and worked with me on understanding what is pretty for me. I was quite a disorganized client, late for our pre wedding shoot, planning a subsequent shoot, not executing it, etc. and needless to say, that could be very pissing off. Very Unprofessional and careless about final product. Very Disappointed. I booked Deepakshi for my brother's Wedding. Had high hopes from her reviews on WedMeGood But in India we have this problem , We just rate someone 5 without even considering the level expected and this dosent help other people who go by these ratings. My Reasons : 1. I dont see the effort required. 2. Not interactive when it comes to PreWedding/Wedding(Couple) pose, No ideas 3. I have no family photographs which we can frame , there were lot of opportunity on stage I never asked to do stage photography, but Few family shots should be covered. Some photographers just treat that as dish washing. 4. I had requested for flash photography, I was promised, but it was not done. Very unprofessional 5. Effort and focus dips down in graph when coming to end The Final album which was delivered had most of the pic in center of the fold, and images were cut and album was little broken from outside Same was communicated to her and she said she would do again For the next album my Sister-in-law had put lot of effort and made whole layout and gave it to her But this time all pics were of low quality, when asked she din even know about it(I wonder if she even checked them or gave this work to someone else) I have communicated about the album about months ago , I was so frustrated with this attitude , I asked her to pay back Album money Still no reply from her side If things are okay, she is sweet the moment you have some issue and you communicate to her she will play Ostrich game. Your calls /messages would be ignored . She did same with one of my friend, this time it was related to video, her Hardisk got crashed and She started ignoring his calls as she did not know what to say , She promised him she will try to recover the video , but now she just ignores his call.

It was pure chance that we came across Deepakshi while searching for candid photographers. Then there was the question of hiring a candid photographer all the way from Delhi (forgot to mention that we are based in Bangalore) when there were a lot of options in Bangalore too. But once we got in contact with her and exchanged a few emails and calls, we were completely sure that she will be the one covering our ?THE? Day. The decision was quite easy to make as she was really approachable, friendly, very excited to capture our wedding day and highly professional. All the pre wedding discussions and planning went really good but we were really apprehensive if she will be able to meet our expectations as firstly weddings are busy days and it would be difficult to follow up. Secondly we weren't sure if she would understand our wedding culture (which is of course quite different from those in the North) and if she would miss any important moment in the process. She took care of both the things better than we expected her to. She prepared herself by getting acquainted with friends and family and somehow she captured all the important moments though no one has any idea when exactly she did that. She made sure her presence wasn?t felt at all (unlike some photographers who can get on your nerves) but that didn't compromise on delivering us really amazing candid pictures of all the important moments. And we would also want to appreciate her for her tremendous patience and her friendly character for the whole 2 days. All in all she is an amazing photographer with all the skill set required to make your special day even more special. Moments pass but photographs last a lifetime, so i wanted to make the right choice, and pick someone who would capture my special moments in the best way. Then to my luck, i came across Deepakshi?s reference from a mutual friend and checked out her profile and website. And i instantly knew that i had met the person who was perfect for the job at hand. Me and my fianc met her and at once liked her as she was such a personable, professional and easy going female, the kinds you want for capturing all your moments when you are at your tense and vulnerable most. I was so bad at candid shots and had told her at the start only that she should either tell me specifically how to pose or click me randomly on her own as i would be of no help. She and her team managed all the functions swift and well.
