I first met Deepti at her house when I was in the process of finalizing a make up artist for my wedding. Within minutes into the conversation, I knew she was the one! She was so honest and generous and did not push me for a certain kind of make up which normally all make up artists do even without understanding what would look good on you. I told her what I wanted and trusted her with the entire process. I kept troubling her by asking even the smallest doubt I had before the wedding day about the dupatta, jewellery, etc. and she was as sweet and comforting each time. She is such an easy going person that she'll release all your stress on the D day and make you feel all calm during the entire process. I have seen brides shell out loads of mullah and end up looking scarecrow (gosh not on your wedding) all u to be brides your worry ends here.. I booked her for my engagement and wedding makeup. Her super friendly nature can help brides get out of those wedding jitters. Deepti ensures appropriate makeup that suits her clients. She doesn't overdo it makeup or impose anything on her clients. But that's it. Apart from her makeup skills, I haven't had a very bad experience with Deepti in terms of her behaviour. I booked her recently for my brothers wedding (for the bride and other guests (including me) and she got extremely snappy with me on any sort of delay be it food or being late to get ready for the after party that was post the wedding function (I'm sure this happens at most of the Indian weddings). She was not at all calm, cool headed or understanding. She billed us for a makeup that we dint get done since she dint want to work till late. When I refused to pay the extras claimed by her as I thought it was unjustified, she got extremely offensive and rude which is something that I least expected from a PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST. Also, she had committed to me initially that she will be completely doing my makeup but on the function days rather she asked another artist to do my makeup and hair while she was still free. Lastly, before you book her make sure to get a clear confirmation on her availability as she mixed up our dates and we dint have any other option to book so we couldn't cancel her. Extremely unprofessional behaviour I must say!! Reply: Yes, we have hired a makeup artist but we wanted a PROFESSIONAL one. That's it. It doesn't give you any right as well to throw your weight around and snap at us for no rhyme or reason. Also, I'm glad that you have stated the reason for your irritation as it will help others to know that you took out your irritation by charging me extra money for makeup and airfare only due to the delay in food. And what proof do you have that you were not given any food for both days till 11pm? I have WhatsApp messages that the food was delivered in your room on day 1. For day 2, it was the wedding day which kept me busy and I had clearly offered you hi tea snacks which you refused. Contract and breach?? Which contract are you talking about? Do you even have one? Sorry but you haven't shared any contract with me that stipulates your max working hours. Wen we discussed the assignment, we booked you for 2 full days without you mentioning any max working hours. Offcourse, that doesn't entitle me to ask you to work entire night (and you dint). Having said that, let me mention that you were resting from morning till 2pm and then from 4pm to 10pm. So not sure what's the hype about if you had to dress up the bride at 11pm and your other artist dressed up 2 guests at the same time. There was no mention of the after party starting at 7pm. You've been confused and hence taken out your irritation on us. Anyways, have paid you the unjustified extra money you claimed due to the so called food related inconvenience!! Enjoy. Hope people are extra cautious of your tantrums before hiring you.

I came to know about deepti through a family friend. I remember the first time I talked with her on the phone for a makeup trial for my wedding, she seemed very approachable and friendly. When we first meet for the makeup trial i decided that it was gonna be her whose gonna doll me up on my wedding day ! Me and my sister were tired finding the perfect makeup artist for her wedding. Some were very expensive while others had unnescessary tantrums. Our search ended when we met Deepti for the first time in Pune. She was approachable, friendly and had no airs about her work. We immediately booked her for the wedding. Her work was exceptional. I found out about Deepti just a month before my wedding. She had not seen me or my pictures before that. We only spoke twice on the phone and I told her how I wanted my makeup to be and she delivered exactly that. We were running out of time, still she managed to do my hair, makeup and drape in just one and a half hour. Deepti uses excellent quality products that don't smudge or wear off and does her makeup with utmost precision and hygiene. My makeup didn't wear off at all and i received a ton of compliments that day. She got my base right which is the most important part of any look. Even the products she used for my hairstyling were excellent as they did not cause any hairfall. I would highly recommend Deepti as she is very polite and understanding and really takes every word of the bride's idea of makeup into consideration.

Deepti is a very talented make up artist. She dressed me up for all functions of my wedding and she did a fabulous job at that! We met in person once before the wedding to decide our looks but Deepti still improvised on that day depending on the full look once the clothes and jewellery were on. Both she and I were willing to experiment with the make up and I trusted her judgement fully. The end result was that I look at my wedding pictures till day and admire how well she had done my make up :) She did the make up for my mother for 2 of the functions as well and she was very comfortable working on that age skin and made my mom look beautiful too.
