I hired Divya to do my make-up for my wedding and reception recently, and as I did not meet her for any demo session, the only brief that I had given her was that I needed minimalistic make up as my skin was oily and had acne breakouts. I was extremely worried about how my skin would hold layers of make up without appearing oily for the entire day, and Divya allayed my concerns by saying that she would handle it. Handle she did, and extremely well at that! For the early evening wedding with a North Indian bridal look, she gave me an ethereal Princess-type styling, focussing on bringing out the softness of my features, which everyone highly appreciated. For the reception at night, she upped the drama quotient, contrasting the subtle, elegant saree look with dramatic eye make-up, which was also a novelty. The hairstyling by stylist Madhuri also complemented both the looks perfectly. My experience tells me that there is a thin line between dramatic and over the top, and in the hands of a heavy-handed or inexperienced artist, even the most attractive person can end up looking like a Christmas tree. Divya's deft and skillful hands made sure that all my flaws were concealed, and my best features were highlighted.

Divya did my makeup for a family function and she did a wonderful job with both makeup and hairdo. Since I was travelling to Mumbai from my city and I did not have the time to make a trip to Mumbai for trials, I chose Divya solely based on reviews (many had specifically mentioned that she is easy to work with). She definitely did not disappoint and I had such a wonderful experience. She was right on time and she patiently did my makeup so perfectly, accentuating my features and making me look like a much better version of myself. She used branded products and the makeup stayed for a long time without any need for touch ups. The makeup looked natural in person and it looked really nice in pics as well. A lot of people complimented me on the makeup which was nice and glowing but definitely not over the top. I would definitely recommend Divya to anyone looking for a good makeup artist. Divya is such an amazing artist..!!! She dolled up me, mom and sister on my engagement. Her makeup and hairstyles were awesome and class apart. For all my events I had different makeup artists by even after so many months people still recall my engagement makeup and don't stop praising it. Her makeup is very natural, it doesn't wear off or get cakey, there is a very natural glow on your face with her makeup (you will notice that in each of her client's pictures). My wedding day was very very strenuous and Divya made it so much better for me.We started super early, and she was there even earlier than I anticipated. A thorough professional, she was meticulous about each and every detail. The makeup was FLAWLESS, it was subtle , yet sophisticated! I had to do three looks , and all three were amazing! The best part about the makeup was I looked like myself , but a film star version of myself. Additionally she used only good, high end products to achieve the makeup looks.
