I don’t even know where to start, so grab a cup of coffee because this review is going to be a lengthy one. I had an absolutely horrible experience with Ejaaz Couture. I booked them around September 2019 for my wedding lengha. It’s unfortunate that due to COVID, things started to slow down and I understand that shops were closed in India. However, Ejaaz Couture not once bothered to message me to send me an update on their situation or my lengha. I had to message them on numerous occasions to get an update. My wedding was near the end of August2020 and had asked to have it ready by July2020 initially, however due to COVID and things closing down, I was understanding of the delays and gave them till August 10th, 2020 to have it ready for me. They assured me that it will be ready on time. Come July 2020, they had yet to send me sketch or colour selection of my outfit, nothing at this point. I live in Canada so used to stay up till 3am just so I could call them to get an update. Even when I would call, I would have to call 3-4 times before getting through and it would be a different agent every time clueless of my story so I had to explain my story to a new person every time. We are now sitting in mid July2020 and absolutely clueless about what’s happening with my outfit and whether my lengha will arrive on time or not so I politely asked them to give me my 1000$CAD deposit as I couldn’t wait any longer and had to buy one from Canada. They denied my request and promised that my lengha is in the works and that I’m prioritized. Mind you, again, this is during July 2020 and I have yet to see any results i.e. sketching, colour selection or anything at this point. It was truly frustrating trying to get a hold of them. Finally, after constant harassment and staying on top of them, by the end of July2020, they sent me a picture of my completed lengha. Now, when I saw the picture, I was absolutely shattered. I asked them to create a Rimple&Harpreet lengha. Picture#1 is what I asked for, and picture#2 is what I received. As you can see, it looks nothing like the picture (as I was promised), it was completely botched up. Colours were put there without my permission, work done looked cheap, I was promised embroidery work, but this looked like it was made with cheap material. The original lengha dupatta is embroidered, however they just plastered on some cheap lace on mine. I was promised at the beginning when the contract was made that I would be informed of everything along the process- this DID NOT happen. I knew I could not wear this lengha on my wedding day based on this picture, however trying to stay optimistic, I asked them to send me more pictures and videos of the lengha- they refused to and said its in the warehouse and cannot take pictures (which I never understood, how did you take the first picture to begin with then?). They kept pushing me to pay the remaining balance based on this one picture. It was disappointing. Even after going constant back and forth, Ejaaz Couture did not bother to do anything about the changes I wanted and stopped replying back to after August 10th as it was past the deadline given. Thank the lord, my wedding was on August 30th so I had bit (very bit) of time to shop for a new one here. Ejaaz Couture took my deposit money as the work wasn’t delivered and then simply ghosted me. Moreover, they had the audacity to put this lengha on their instagram page, picture#3 attached. As you can see, the lengha looks more bedazzled in the picture, different colours and quite frankly, heavily edited. I sometimes believe I would’ve been happy with the result if they had sent me the instagram picture first time around, but they refused to send me anymore pictures and videos of the lengha. TRULY TRULY a disappointing experience. I would not recommend them to anyone and I had many friends in Canada and UK wanting to buy with them.

We made the lehenga as per the budget offered by you and also, colours etc changed by you. It is a custom design as per your taste and keeping in mind your budget. Initial delivery was by June 30th 2020 and considering the Covid scenario and lockdown in delhi, we conveyed you that we will be able to courier in August and you agreed. When we showed you the final pictures, you realised that you didn’t want the colourful borders and thats when you decided to not take the lehenga strangely when you yourself had asked us about incorporating the multiple colours. During the challenging Covid times, our team made sure they finish the lehenga which can be shipped on time, and its our loss that we never got paid for the balance. Team Ejaaz
