The best decision I made for my destination wedding in Fairmont was to hire Chaitali as my make up artist. With lots of things going wrong, Chaitali kept her calm and made me look like a princess for all my events. I hired her to do 4 of my looks and she did each one with such versatility. Chaitali did my makeup for my engagement. I was heavily disappointed with the service, given how popular she is and that she does charge a bomb. She didn’t seem interested in my look right from the start, hardly did any skin-prep and did a pretty average job on the makeup. She didn’t even bother about my drape and entire look. Only her assistant did some average job in dressing me up with Chaitali just busy on her phone. Worse, she only kept pointing at my imperfect features (“your face is too sharp, need to make it soft”, “uneven skin tone between face and neck”), which already made me under confident on my main day. The hair artist that she got with her had the most contribution in ruining my look though - he did a pretty shoddy job, again, compared to the amount they charge. Overall, a salon in my area would have done a similar job for 25% of the price.

This is was the first time I was getting professional make up done and therefore was nervous about how I’d look! Chaitali made me look like a dream on both my Mehendi and Wedding! She was so calm and gentle. She glammed me up - yet made me look natural and like myself, which is exactly what I wanted. She is very professional and patient. My ask was simple - I was looking for a subtle and classy makeup for all my functions. And that’s where Chaitali fitted right in. I found her through WedMeGood and judging through her portfolio I could sense she would tick all my boxes. My hunch was confirmed as once I spoke to her she understood quickly - what I exactly wanted. And after that I just trusted her judgement for which I am so glad cos all my looks turned out to be just perfect. I had an amazing experience with Chaitali! Right from the day when she gave me a trial to my wedding day, she constantly stayed in touch with me and helped me with information on how to take care of my skin. She also gave me info on the best makeup products to buy for pre and post wedding glow-up. Since I'm Bengali, my look was that of a typical Bengali bride with forehead design and head gear. She understood exactly what I wanted for both hair and makeup and made me look the best I have ever looked in my life! Her hairstylist even helped me drape the sari in Bengali style. Chetali was my engagement day make up artist and she was too good. The room that was provided to me at my engagement venue was kind of small and did not have much light as well but Chetali managed everything so nicely with whatever resources were available to her. Chaitali (Faces by Chaitali Sengupta) had done my make up for two events and both the looks were unbelievable. I’m a person who prefers light and subtle make up and very rarely go for a loud look. For the 1st time, she went by my preferences of subtle with a touch of her own style. But for the 2nd, she did something completely contrasting to my idea of wearing make up and trusting her with that was indeed the right choice I had made.
