My mom, who is frugal with praise, first saw Farzana's work at a friend's engagement party and was instantly impressed. She called me up and, in her typical way of instructing while letting me think that I had a say in the matter, goes "You should book Piyu's hair and makeup stylist for your wedding right away!" Firstly, I was half way across the globe and had planned to arrive just one week before the functions. Being the Type A personality, I had researched and narrowed down 3 other stylists purely based on online portfolios. While all of the stylists had about the same quality of work, what stood out for me was how approachable Farzana was. She understood my apprehensions and inexperience with makeup/hair styling and had a very clear yet flexible process which she walked me through. We had a couple of Skype sessions to discuss the looks and met directly on the day of the function. I was hassled and exhausted, so I completely let her take over. Within 2 hours she managed to style hair, makeup and draping. She also styled my mom and sisters as per what they had in mind. Overall, we were very pleased - two big thumbs up for Farzana!
