I got my wedding makeover by Ritwika a few months ago. Along with the bridal makeup, she also insisted me for party makeup for one of my friends. I was pretty confident about her as I was impressed with her work, posted on Instagram and the past reviews on social media. However, on the wedding day, she was in so hurry that she didn't even drape my saree perfectly. Neither she completed the party makeup nor the hair do, instead she forced me to give a positive feedback for her promotion through a video. She requested me to make the payment instantly while the makeup was being done. As soon as she received the payment, she and her assistant both were trying hard to convince my friend that she was looking good without any hair do and half make up. We requested her to complete the makeup but they were least bothered as they received the amount. Not just that, she quoted 18k on the day when I booked her but she charged 21k on the day of wedding. And for the so called party makeup, she charged 3k. Also, the cab expenses were paid by me. I would never recommend her for any sort of makeup because of her highly unprofessional attitude. She will be very cooperative with you during the whole course of interaction but she will ruin everything on the real day.

I had a wonderful experience and will always want the bride to select this team.

Most UNPROFESSIONAL experience of my life. The first booking for my wedding in 2020 was a hassle, with Ritwika constantly pressuring me into booking asap because there was this “other girl” waiting on same date. I finally booked because i loved her work on my friends wedding. Then covid happened and I had to cancel my wedding, she gave me a hard time saying she cannot accommodate my new date and will not refund my advance payment either. She finally agreed after a hassle for the 2nd time. Now the MOST SHOCKING thing happened, I called her since I was in India to just chat and build a good relationship. That’s when Ritwika DROPPED A BOMB on us saying she will not even be in town on my booked date for which she took advance. She immediately refunded my money but I was left without a makeup artist who never had the courtesy to call and cancel. WEDDING PLANNING IS DIFFICULT AND NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO ENDURE THIS MUCH STRESS FOR A MAKEUP ARTIST. Be very cautious of this company!! (Adding update to my review): FIRSTLY, she has now lied in her response saying I canceled one day before. I’ve attached our Whatsapp chat where I confirmed nearly 4 WEEKS AGO that wedding is “postponed”. I did this as soon as we decided to call off the wedding with our last hopes crushed thanks to COVID. Now for my SECOND POINT, she is trying to THREATEN me saying she will “solve this legally” (second screenshot) I’m a client who has submitted an honest review here. Not sure what’s illegal :)

It was so much fun during the makeup. I was thinking that she ll overdo with her brushes.. but then the outcome was soo natural and flawless. We should rely fully on such professionals

I randomly searched for a MUA in kolkata for my Brother’s wedding and reception and zeroed in on Ritwika and that was the best decision! I loved both the looks she did for myself and mom. I had some looks on my mind and when I told Ritwika she improvised on it and the final result was great. In fact, some of them also told me that I looked better than the bride 🤭 😬 You can surely pick her for all your make up needs. She knows her way around make up for sure. Had a bad experience. The lady was busy incrementing her charges by one way or the other , rather than focusing on my needs. She had a problem with everything- from the look I wanted to traveling (even though traveling charges had been paid separately and my father had given a car ride to the team). I felt uncomfortable talking to them. Cancelled further bookings with them as well. Better to be at peace than deal with such unprofessional people !! Addition after seeing reply: How did you take pictures of the 'transformation' when I specifically asked not to ..as I am not comfortable with the same? I can and will press charges for the same. You just proved my point further about your unprofessionalism!
