I was extremely excited to book Gurpreet when she moved to St.Louis from Mumbai. To my utter surprise, she turned out to be highly unprofessional with zero respect for people and zero on her time management. She kept saying that she will bring a hairstylist and a drape artist with her but there were no hair stylist! The worst experience was the reception makeup. She asked someone to drape my saree who hadn’t worn saree for years. They struggled to make me wear a saree and then blamed me saying I drove in a saree so the saree got messed up. Like people drive and dance in a saree! She never listens to what the client wants and puts in her own quirky styles in her clients! Her portfolio said she has dresses up celebrities in Mumbai but her work didn’t do justice to that. Didn’t use makeup setting spray or hair setting spray for the reception and the hair kept falling apart. Imagine paying a total of $700 for such a pathetic makeup. For St.Louis standards, she charges a lot and her services are extremely sub par. Let me remind you, she never sticks to what she says and then tries charging you more(I didn’t pay anything more that she was asking because she really screwed up my makeup). She also charged the groom $100 for barely putting foundation (what a joke) and couldn’t do his draping till the groom’s mom jump in! We hired so many vendors for different events and Gurpreet was the worst experience. She was a nightmare in terms of her behavior and services. She’s NOT a Bridal artist Atleast for US standard.
