My Engagement and bridal Makeup was booked. Both days Ankkit and his team were punctual. He kept a check on my personal likes and dislikes and crafted the looks accordingly. I recently got married amidst the craziness of the global pandemic. Planning a wedding is anyway a tedious task and planning it during a pandemic was a real struggle. However, I was least worried about my makeup, owing to Ankit's meticulous planning, days in advance of the event. Due to the present condition, we weren't able to have a face-to-face meeting but Ankit did not let that hamper his process of dealing with his clients. From recommending skincare routine, to checking out my jewellery and wedding saree, he was a virtual friend, who tagged along the entire process. The hair and makeup were decided in advance and Ankit was well acquainted with my personal style and comfort before-hand, leaving no room for disastrous surprises on the D-Day. On the wedding day as well, he was patient throughout the process and was catering to our requests, as he took care of mine, my sister's and mother's look. Ankit gave me a subtle makeup with bold eyes, just the way how I wanted it and let me be a natural South Indian bride. He made no attempts to make my complexion unnecessary lighter and instead highlighted my features. I was extremely happy with him and his team. The 0.5 reduction in my review is only for the draping of my saree, which could have been slightly better.

When I first met Ankit for a meeting to discuss my looks for wedding , my sister told me that this would be the best decision I ever made simply because they he is too humble and listens to his clients need. And he absolutely did! From the time we met first to the day of the wedding it went smoothly and they worked with me on things I needed.  What I really enjoyed was the energy in the room the day of the wedding. I booked with Ankkit Malik a little over a year before our wedding. In between the the year before the wedding I went multiple times to get my makeup and hair done for numerous occasions. . Ankkit did my makeup for the wedding and from the moment I sat in his chair I felt comfortable and knew he was the one, I showed him multiple pictures from his Instagram page and with those pictures he was spot on.
