She was so patient and so flawless with her hands on me that I could make out how amazing every look of mine was going to be even before I saw it and I was so right. Including the hair! The sari drape was so comfortable that my mother in law who was wearing a sari for the first time found it very easy and comfortable throughout the function. I can't emphasize enough how important it is for a bride to feel like she is looked after and cared for by the people who are managing aspects for her wedding and more so from your hair and makeup artist. Ritika took each look into account with SO MUCH CARE, she took her time, was honest about her own output and if she thought a look could get better with a couple of more tweaks so would do it all while making you feel confident that it would turn out great. I asked Ritika to come and do my makeup for me on my engagement party and i had one simple request - i don't want to look cakey or heavy with makeup, i want my natural skin to just be enhanced. She did that so beautifully for me, it was a no brainer that she would take on my wedding as well. Despite that one base line brief she has overall created 4 different looks for me that have each been so unique and yet gorgeous, all while using some of the best products one can. Ritika and her team did a fantastic job with mine and my family's make-up. Neither I nor anyone in my family wear any make-up everyday. So we were all really nervous to get it done on the wedding, since we didn't want to look too different. I explained to Ritika at my trial what kind of look I wanted, and she gave me really good suggestions and followed our preferences till the end. Ritika did my makeup for a small civil ceremony that I had in early January. COVID was (is!) still very real, and she accommodated all my wariness. We spoke on the phone to communicate the look, but she didn’t insist on a trial (and still aced my look), she used new/sanitised products - something I know she did even before sanitising was cool, and had her mask on around me at all times. I shy away from any kind of elaborate makeup, and prefer to not have any makeup on, rather than risk looking all caked and unlike myself. Ritika was very patient with me (and my equally hesitant family), and very efficiently and gently created a minimal and natural look for me. Everyone loved my makeup, and I can see myself getting makeup done again – from Ritika!
