Choosing Acharya Shruti to officiate both my sister’s and my wedding was deeply meaningful. In settings where male officiants are most often seen, having a team of women lead with such wisdom, compassion, and authenticity felt profoundly special. She brings a rare sense of inclusivity and ease — explaining each ritual so everyone, regardless of background, feels connected — while her team’s quiet efficiency ensures everything flows beautifully - thank you Bhavana. The ceremonies were free of rigid customs and outdated roles, yet deeply spiritual, with the chanting of mantras creating a powerful, almost timeless atmosphere. Knowing that many of our guests didn’t speak Hindi, her daughter Swasti offered live English translations, thoughtfully prepared and gracefully woven into the ceremony without adding to its length. At both weddings, guests were visibly moved — and many have since chosen Acharya Shruti to officiate their own ceremonies. It’s a reflection of how she brings tradition to life in a way that feels both true and new, honoring the sacred while opening it up for all. We are so grateful for the way Acharya Shruti helped us begin our married life — with meaning, with love, and with hope.

Dear Shruti Ji, I wanted to thank you again for conducting our wedding ceremony in such a meaningful and beautiful way. I was really hoping that we find a pandit Ji to whom I feel connected and I couldn’t have dreamt better than that. From the beginning, I did truly appreciate your grounded, kind and yet powerful energy and this whole ceremony was absolutely magical. My family felt also very grateful that you were so open towards them despite the fact they knew little about the tradition. They hope they didn’t make too many mistakes and they genuinely thank you for bearing with them !!! On a personal note, it was also very meaningful for me that we were married by a woman, giving a sign that times are changing and that it is time for women to take their place. So with all my heart, I thank you for everything. Ayush and I felt very blessed by your presence ??? Hari Om Sophie Mayoux

We feel truly blessed to have had Shruti ji perform the phera ceremony at our son’s wedding in April 2025. She brought with her not just the depth of Vedic knowledge but also a warmth and modern sensitivity that made the ceremony feel deeply personal. From invoking the sacred vows to thoughtfully including rituals that symbolized the union of both families, she created a space filled with meaning, grace, and love. Her clear explanations and gentle presence moved everyone present—many guests came up to us saying they now want a female pandit for their children’s weddings too. Shruti ji didn’t just conduct a ceremony, she created an unforgettable experience that touched all our hearts.

Having Acharya Shruti officiate our wedding was the best decision I've ever made. Shrutiji brings a strong set of feminist values to the table, while also expertly balancing traditional religious beliefs with modern progressive ideas. She moulds outdated traditions with modern values to deliver a ceremony that is to the satisfaction of old and young alike. More importantly, Shrutiji ensures the ceremony is engaging and interesting, keeping the audience (as well as the bride and groom) constantly invested. I have never come across an officiant with her diction, confidence and speech - she has the ability to command the attention of a large gathering of exhausted wedding guests at 3 am. She ensures that the rituals and procedures are not inaccessible and incomprehensible to anyone. She explains the meanings and symbolisms behind every action she undertakes, something that stood out to me. She infuses the ceremony with strong emotions, joy, laughter, sentimentality, and managed to impress upon the bride and groom the significance and gravity of the journey they are about to undertake. She is receptive to all feedback and concerns and conducts the ceremony in exactly the manner that the bride and groom request. She has a knack for understanding the flavour of the bride and groom's relationship and values they share and makes sure to incorporate it in her rituals. This is all in diametric opposition to the classical pandits who insist on doing things by-the-book without any regard for what the couple wants or requests. I witnessed men who have the most patriarchal beliefs to also be impressed by Shrutiji- a testament to her attitude, her ability to explain feminist ideas in a clear way and her outstanding speeches. The ceremony was extremely well organised, thought-out and smooth. Shrutiji was a blessing to me- she gave me the pheras of my dreams- there is no other way I would have wanted it. Trust her to do a brilliant job with your wedding, and to make the ceremony an unforgettable one.

Shruti ji had taken so many bookings that inspite of booking her 10 months in advance for the whole day of my daughter's wedding . She was not able to reach for the morning rituals . She had sent another(man) pandit to do the ceremonies which we had informed in the beginning only that we wanted female pandit for all the rituals. She reached late for the wedding ceremony with her daughter ( wearing casual outfit ) not appropriately dressed for the wedding functions as they are in all pictures in the frame Wedding rituals were conducted fine and the translation was also good by her daughter But i wish they are more sensitive towards for wht they commit .Weddings are one time affair and we tend to pay so much but they are not able to deliver . Very disappointing .

We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant for our wedding! From the very beginning, Shruti ji brought an air of calm, grace, and joy to the planning process. Her presence made our ceremony not only meaningful but also incredibly fun and personal. She took the time to understand our love story, beliefs, and the type of atmosphere we wanted to create. Her words were heartfelt, beautifully spoken, and tailored perfectly to us. The way she engaged with our guests was wonderful, and her energy made the whole day feel magical. Shruti ji has a special gift of blending the sacred with lighthearted moments, making everyone feel included and uplifted. The ritual she led was both powerful and touching, and many of our guests commented on how unique and beautiful it was. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her guidance, warmth, and spirit. If you’re looking for someone who will make your wedding not just an event, but an unforgettable experience full of love, laughter, and connection, we highly recommend Shruti ji.

At every wedding I’d attended, the seven “vachans” chanted by panditjis often felt outdated and disconnected from today’s world. The vows rooted in a time when women were less independent, didn’t reflect modern values. So, for our wedding, we decided to break away from tradition and have a female pandit officiate. Finding one was not easy, given the male-to-female ratio in this field :3, but we were blessed to get to know our amazing Panditji, Acharya Shrutiji. Her ceremony was a breath of fresh air— she was smart, articulate, down-to-earth, and explained the meaning behind these rituals which no one really knew. The vachans we made to each other are relevant today and not just something we were asked to chant because that's how it has been done for years. She made our ceremony special and meaningful, and we’ll cherish it forever. Forever Grateful.

I found the Shruti ji to be the perfect person to perform my marriage rituals. With a profound understanding of Vedic scriptures and a gentle demeanor, Pandit Shruti crafts wedding ceremonies that blend ancient rituals with modern sensibilities, offering couples a meaningful start to their marital journey. As a female pandit, Pandit Shruti ji embodies empowerment and inclusivity within the traditionally male-dominated sphere of religious officiation. Her presence challenges stereotypes and inspires young girls and women to envision themselves as leaders within their communities. By embracing her role with dignity and devotion, Pandit Shruti serves as a role model for those seeking to blend tradition with progressive values. Her command over Sanskrit mantras and rituals instills a sense of reverence, guiding the couple through each ceremonial step with clarity and poise. Beyond the ceremonial aspects, Pandit Shruti imbues the proceedings with spiritual depth, emphasizing the sacredness of marriage as a union of souls. Thank you, Pandit Shruti Ji, for performing my marriage ritual and making it a lifelong experience that I will cherish always.

Shruti ji, you have broken a very old trivial stereotype by becoming a female Pandit.. You have set a new example for all women in the society.. You are the pride of women.. Even in this 21st century where some The so called male pandits talk about snatching away these rights from women, whereas you have given a befitting reply to all of them with your ability.. You keep moving forward on your path.. Surely you will achieve great heights.. We are proud of you.

We had the most seamless experience with Shruti ji. We both live outside India and so do our parents, but she made our experience very easy. From our initial conversation, she was clear, honest, attentive, and inclusive. As progressives, we wanted to retain the essence of the Vedic traditions but discard with the problematic and deeply patriarchial rituals that are out of date. This was a hard task given we were doing an inter-regional and inter-cultural wedding. Shruti ji helpfully navigated all the ritualistic jargon while talking to both sets of parents- one Maharashtrian and one Punjabi. She is great at explaining the meaning of each tradition and is an attentive listener. She is open to suggestions and flexible to client needs. On the day she received a lot of compliments from our guests due to her diction and narration which enthralled the audiences. The ceremony was comprehensive and included all the rituals and traditions and yet she managed to keep it short as that was our preference. Shrutiji has a great understanding of the rituals and remains a devout disciple of her art. Most importantly, she is a professional who values other people's time and was always punctual. She was at the venue ahead of time and started the ceremony on time as well as ending it like we had planned. If you want a modern, inclusive, ceremony that is deeply truthful to traditions we highly recommend Shruti ji. We suggest you express your desires and expectations honestly to get a great service and a deeply personal ceremony.
