The best thing about Nikhil and his team was they some how knew what I wanted and how I wanted my wedding pics to be like..I wanted simple yet sophisticated pics, neither the usual ones nor the over-the-top ones. This guy from the moment you meet him establishes a connect and an aura of warmth and makes you comfortable so that you can be yourself and he can capture you at your very best. Nikhil and his team did a great job. They were always on time for all the functions, the team was uber friendly and gelled in nicely with family members. All the shots were incredible...natural laughs , jokes, joyous tears, never ending ceremonies , everything was captured perfectly. Right after we landed in India, Nikhil agreed to be our photographer in a 48-hour notice. He covered our ring ceremony and wedding. In a new country, a new city, amid a myriad of cultures and languages, Nikhil showed up at our hotel as a photographer, but left as a lot more. Starting from driving me to the wedding venue, to taking me into the bridal room through the back entrance (because I was late of course) to calming me down after my then-future-husband spilled vermillion on my nose in the middle of the ceremony, Nikhil was there every moment. Being a specialist in candid photography, he was the invisible photographer (I am serious, he is really invisible) but the constantly present friend. Every picture of us taken by Nikhil is honest, plainspoken, uncontrived and AMAZING. It?s been over a year since Nikhil and I met, but we kept in touch and I follow his work closely. Although I thought there was no room for improvement (he just seemed to perfect!), his pictures never cease to surprise and please me. We love you Nikhil!! Thank you!!

There are 3 things I think a photographer needs to be rated at - quality of their end product (photos), always being hungry for capturing moments, and building comfort and rapport with their subjects to the extent where the subject is oblivious of the photographer's presence. Nikhil and his team were top notch in all these 3 areas. But what makes Nikhil head and shoulders above everyone else out there is the professionalism he shows, and the process he has (which he sticks to, and ensures that his clients stick to as well). We hired him for 3 days - video and photo, for over 9 different functions (one of which started at 4 in the morning, and another had him and his team go with us to Yamuna river in freezing cold weather). With so many different functions on both bride and the groom's side, it was to a large extent thanks to Nikhil's process and professionalism that made it so easy for both us and him to make sure that there was no confusion, and everything went smoothly as far as capturing the moment goes. Nikhil is not just a wedding photographer, he is what you get when you compare journalism and wedding photography. He reports the events through his photography, and by that I mean that people can truly feel the event and the moments when they see the photos, as he really captures people "in the moment", and encourages you to even get bold and comfortable to get your true self out. That I think is his biggest USP in the quality of his work. Price wise - let's just say, from all the photographers I talked with in Mumbai and Delhi (and I talked to a lot), he was by far the most reasonable, especially when you consider what he brings to the table. Nikhil was not just an awesome choice of his work, he is also a great guy to know personally. Go for him blindly, and you won't regret!!

I came across Nikhil kumar at the sunburn music festival & we randomly met each other & later i checked his work on his website. And that very time i decided it will be Nikhil who will cover my wedding. And believe me his work was much better than what we could imagine. We booked him for both candid photography & cinematography as well. His entire team was so gentle & humble that they didn't even care for their sleep & meals. We chose Nikhil for our engagement pictures and soon-to-be wedding, and without a doubt the best decision we could've made! Our wedding was in January 2015, it went so smoothly that we couldn't have asked for anything better. He is a very friendly, easy going guy who is open to any ideas you may have. He knew exactly what lense to use and where the best lighting would be. When we got the pictures, we couldn't have been happier.
