Paawni Behl Makeup

Paawni did amazing work for me and my mum's makeup. It was for my brother's wedding and the makeup was so beautiful. Makeup wasnt too much to too less, very on point, just like I wanted it. The hairdo done by Bhavna ji was beautiful. Everyone loved the eye makeup.

As a bride who managed every aspect of my wedding on my own, I was already under a lot of stress, but unfortunately, my experience with this makeup artist only made things worse. I had booked her months in advance, swayed by her perfectly curated Instagram feed with ultra-filtered photos and a seemingly impressive list of followers. She was incredibly sweet over WhatsApp, which made me feel reassured about her professionalism. She seemed like the dream makeup artist—until reality hit. I was traveling from a different country to India to get married, and while I was already exhausted from managing everything, I still had high hopes for my makeup and hairstyle. I trusted her with everything—lip shade, eye shade, hairstyle, and more—expecting a flawless bridal look. Instead, what I received was far from it. She was more interested in recording my makeup process with a huge ring light than actually focusing on the work itself. I had arranged continuous snacks, coffee, and food for the team, but her focus was on getting the perfect shot rather than delivering a perfect look. The makeup and hairstyle, while seeming okay at first, quickly became unprofessional. The nightmare truly began with my hairstyle. I had the cocktail for barely two hours, and I was already late to the party because she took longer to do my engagement makeup (with all her recording) than my wedding makeup. For the wedding, she rushed through it, did the bare minimum, and then left to go to another location. She instructed her hairstylist to finish up quickly and wandered off to mingle with the decor or her husband, leaving me to wonder how my wedding hair would actually turn out. She added just three roses to my hair and called it done. My photographer even pointed out how terrible the hairstyle looked from the top. The veil was loosely attached with only three pins, and as I moved, my baby hairs came loose from the sides, and the veil rubbed against my hair. As a first-time bride, I expected the makeup artist to be mindful of such details, but I quickly realized I had fallen for the Instagram hype. I didn’t pay enough attention to reviews, and I should have been more careful. I texted her a picture of my hair, hoping for a solution, but she immediately called and insisted on a video call to guide my friend on how to fix it. The groom was waiting for me, and she chose that moment to argue. My friend politely told her she couldn’t talk right then, but her husband then yelled on the phone, saying, "Ask her not to throw such attitude!" She then texted me, saying she wouldn’t do my reception makeup if I kept "behaving like this." I was sitting there about to walk my aisle in literally 2-3 minutes and she was busy texting and arguing. Despite paying extra for her services during the wedding, I canceled her for the reception, as I was no longer willing to deal with her attitude. The money didn’t matter to me anymore; I just wanted a memorable wedding day, not more stress. I was shocked by her shallow attitude and lack of professionalism. I had booked her for three events, including my engagement and wedding makeup, as well as my groom’s wedding makeup. But when I saw the layers of foundation she put on my husband—covering his eyebrows, eyelashes, and parts of his mustache and beard—I felt completely disrespected. She treated us like we were clowns, not caring how we looked after we paid her a fortune. She also didn’t let me move after my hair and makeup, insisting on putting on all my jewelry herself, and in the process, she forgot to put on the hathpatti. I only noticed it was missing after the wedding. I had woken up at 6:30 AM to make sure I respected her time and profession, barely sleeping the night before after my sangeet, and I still had no tantrums—but her team was in such a hurry to leave, they didn’t care. To top it off, when my friend asked her draping artist if she could do her saree , she initially refused. Then, paawani and her team both bargained for Rs 700 from my friend and did a terrible terrible terrible job draping her saree which got done again by my cousins MUA , who had to drape it thrice for perfection . I decided to go to a local parlor for my reception. For only 8k, I got the perfect Bollywood-style hair and makeup. It was the best decision I made. I really wish I could save other brides from this experience and guide them to the wonderful local parlor I found. If this review helps even one person avoid the same mistake, I will be glad. Overall, if you want a professional who truly values your special day and delivers a lasting bridal look, look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache, disappointment, and trauma for a lifetime.

Firstly I am so glad that I chose Paawani Behl for my destination wedding♥️ One hell of a lady she is! I have never seen such calm and down to earth person who is actually doing Wonderful makeup and hair. She has given me 3 different looks for my functions and patiently listened to me what exactly I wanted on my skin and my hair. Also i would love to appreciate her complete team that how creative and calm they are? I would definitely go for Paawani Behl from next time for any of the events. She has done my makeup multiple times and I fully trust her and let her create my looks. Her team is very polite and hardworking. Paawni is really talented and such a genuine human being. We were a little hesitant as in Delhi it is a bit difficult to trust anyone for make up and mehendi !! But but but as soon as I got to know about Paawni we were like she is the one who is just gonna change my aunt and make her look like a princess .. we could not believe at all after her makeover .. she was looking so pretty !!
