Indian weddings are made up of many emotions, relatives, music, dance and food. Its a celebration like no other and when a boy from Rajasthan gets married to a girl from Nainital, it is meant to be a unique celebration. You can bet that the destination was magical, set up in the backdrop of Kosi river and in the middle of Jim Corbett National park. All this magical setting witnessed the magical work done by Prerna Sodhi, but before I say anything regarding her work, we need to rewind to our pre-wedding shoot. We both are two of the most camera shy people and therefore we never planned for a pre-wedding shoot. It was a last minute idea and we thought it will be fun and something different. So obviously we were really anxious and nervous about the whole thing, but the way Prerna managed everything was commendable. She arrived in Bangalore with a lot of positive energy and right from the start her excitement about the shoot made both of us look forward to an experience we thought was almost next to impossible. She helped us with the outfits, changes, props and other details about the shoot. She understood our limitations and creatively worked around the same, always patient and sometimes assertive...which, trust me was necessary. The shoot was incredible and she made sure we enjoyed every moment. She was focussed on getting great pictures but what mattered the most to her was creating memories for a lifetime. Fast forward to the wedding day, all I can say is that she is a super woman. Her dedication was evident in the way she went about her work and covered around 15 hours of non stop functions. She made sure, she covered everything into pictures creating lifetime memories for us. She became a part of the family rather than an outsider or just a photographer. Its her dedication and love for her work that the wedding pictures came out to be just perfect and the way we wanted them to be. We are sure that there are innumerable beautiful memories associated with everyone's wedding day, so please make sure that just like us, you have someone to capture those special moments.
