Priyaaaaa! How lucky was I that I had you as my Make up artist! I still remembering stressfully browsing through WedMeGood, sitting here in Singapore, planning my wedding in Kerala. One of my biggest fears was having make up that didnât make me look like me! My sister and I chanced upon her page and as I browsed though her portfolio, i was a 100% that she had to be my make up artist. Priya is extremely talented and had the ability to know EXACTLY what would look good on the bride. We couldnât meet before the events, and all I had sent her was a few pictures of myself, but when I finally met her and her team a few hours before my sangeet, I knew my face was in super trusted hands. She is organised, focused and ensures that we have ample time to avoid last minute stress and rush. Just chatting with her through the process, I was amazed by her speed and agility. I still feel truly blessed to say that my wedding make up was absolutely flawless. I was comfortable, it made me look like me and I felt super confident. Everything from the hair, make up to the spree draping was amazing. I still remember at the end of the day, when I looked in the mirror, I was amazed that it all stayed on perfectly for about 15 hours, through the smoke, tears, sweat and smiles :D If youâre a bride-to-be, thinking about having a make up artist that will understand your skin tone, facial features and know what would look good, just please look no further. I recommend Priya from all my heart and I am still grateful that I had her do my sangeet and wedding make up! One of the best decisions of my life :)

Priya is the definition of the title Makeup ARTIST. She is relentless in her quest for perfection in every job that she does. I came across her name in wedmegood and read her article about Indian obsession for fair skinned brides. I was very impressed by the article and other brides she had done previously. She brings out the best in each bride without white-washing/painting-on-a-new-face. She was utterly thorough even during the trial session and made sure she understood my ideas and re-created it to perfection. Engagement and wedding hair and makeup was immaculate and I couldn't have found anyone better to make me feel beautiful on my big days. Swaya(assistant) helped my mum and my sister get ready at both events and draped my manthrakodi saree. For 3 people who are not comfortable in sarees, Swaya made sure we looked brilliant in them and we thoroughly enjoyed our saree styling for the events. I could write a whole lot more about this Wonderful, Talented, Amazing individual who weaves her magic through Makeup and hair styling. If anyone wants to look like a prettier version of themselves (rather than the copy-paste formula of every Indian bride) PRIYA ABHISKEH JOSEPH is the name to call. ?

In a nutshell Priya is a perfectionist ; she is reasonable;has no airs ; she is professional yet a fun and caring person to work with! The time Priya invested in my journey as a 'bride to be',I thought it be fitting to invest time and effort in her review.let's start from the very beginning... I was so nervous about finding the perfect artist for my makeup ; because 1. I didn't know much about makeup personally , 2. Kerala was an unknown territory in this area of expertise for me , and 3. not many people could suggest an artist in my budget with the kind of look I was going for which was a minimalistic look. Most people I was suggested were not good at communication or were overly priced (35k+) as they worked for celebrities. Although they may have been good , with the limited time and budget choosing them was not an option for me as I had 4other wedding functions to get dolled up for in two different cities. For this reason, I truly want to thank WedMeGood for allowing me to find a brilliant artist like Priya within my budget (although she definitely meets celebrity standards and should hike her price up). Priya 's ability to work with the average Indian skin tone (wheatish) ,and make it look as natural as possible is what caught my eye on her page! I remember sending her a very detailed email of what exactly I wanted and I have to say she was very excited and open to meeting my desired looks at that time. whether it is Indian or western ,she definitely brings out versatility in her work. What I loved about Priya is she uses Pinterest!we shared a number of ideas back and forth from Pinterest.with Priya any of those fancy looks is definitely achievable! She definitely stood out for me amongst other artists as she was approachable. Even though I lived in a different time zone altogether ,Priya always responded to my messages and calls with detailed responses and follow up calls. She provided me with a number of skin and hair care tips along with other wedding vendor suggestions prior to the big day.She never talked about money until I did my trial with her. my short timeline In india allowed me time for only one trial with Priya and I was definitely not disappointed I chose her!she was the best decision I made! I thank the extra time she took out to do my trial on a short notice (a span of 4and half hours) ; having two kids she was quite firm about her working hours but somehow when we crossed our time limit, she was very polite and flexible about it. Her passion towards her profession really reflects in these small examples as mentioned above. The only complaint I have is that on my wedding day, I ended up being late for my ceremony. This was due to a number of unforseeable issues such as the power going off and on ,and the plug points not working in a 5star hotel .To add to that we had 4 bridesmaids and 8 ladies in total that needed their hair done in a span of 5 hours ,and she had only two other girls to help her. Maybe if she was less of a perfectionist (difficult to change that
