In a nutshell Priya is a perfectionist ; she is reasonable;has no airs ; she is professional yet a fun and caring person to work with! The time Priya invested in my journey as a 'bride to be',I thought it be fitting to invest time and effort in her review.let's start from the very beginning... I was so nervous about finding the perfect artist for my makeup ; because 1. I didn't know much about makeup personally , 2. Kerala was an unknown territory in this area of expertise for me , and 3. not many people could suggest an artist in my budget with the kind of look I was going for which was a minimalistic look. Most people I was suggested were not good at communication or were overly priced (35k+) as they worked for celebrities. Although they may have been good , with the limited time and budget choosing them was not an option for me as I had 4other wedding functions to get dolled up for in two different cities. For this reason, I truly want to thank WedMeGood for allowing me to find a brilliant artist like Priya within my budget (although she definitely meets celebrity standards and should hike her price up). Priya 's ability to work with the average Indian skin tone (wheatish) ,and make it look as natural as possible is what caught my eye on her page! I remember sending her a very detailed email of what exactly I wanted and I have to say she was very excited and open to meeting my desired looks at that time. whether it is Indian or western ,she definitely brings out versatility in her work. What I loved about Priya is she uses Pinterest!we shared a number of ideas back and forth from Pinterest.with Priya any of those fancy looks is definitely achievable! She definitely stood out for me amongst other artists as she was approachable. Even though I lived in a different time zone altogether ,Priya always responded to my messages and calls with detailed responses and follow up calls. She provided me with a number of skin and hair care tips along with other wedding vendor suggestions prior to the big day.She never talked about money until I did my trial with her. my short timeline In india allowed me time for only one trial with Priya and I was definitely not disappointed I chose her!she was the best decision I made! I thank the extra time she took out to do my trial on a short notice (a span of 4and half hours) ; having two kids she was quite firm about her working hours but somehow when we crossed our time limit, she was very polite and flexible about it. Her passion towards her profession really reflects in these small examples as mentioned above. The only complaint I have is that on my wedding day, I ended up being late for my ceremony. This was due to a number of unforseeable issues such as the power going off and on ,and the plug points not working in a 5star hotel .To add to that we had 4 bridesmaids and 8 ladies in total that needed their hair done in a span of 5 hours ,and she had only two other girls to help her. Maybe if she was less of a perfectionist (difficult to change that
