Ritu aunty is an amazing makeup artist. She did the makeup for me and my mom for sangeet and wedding. Our makeup matched the events perfectly with the theme of glamour on sangeet and subtle romantic vibes on the wedding night. We don't do much makeup on a day today basis and thus did not know much about the different styles. She asked us some simple questions through which she was able to understand what we would like. From there, she took over and did a wonderful job. Our only ask was that we wanted to be able to recognize ourselves in the mirror with the makeup. Although the request was vague, she completely understood what we meant and it reflected in work. Our features were artistically accentuated without looking artificial. She is also great at finding the right shades for various skin tones/eye cours. On top of that, we think she is one of the most humble people we have had the pleasure of interacting with. If something did not look right, she did not hesitate to remove and redo it. Her focus was satisfaction of the client rather than wastage of the product. She was more than happy to redo makeup on one of my eyes because it did not look as good. Her impressive professionalism and gentle personality combined with her creative artistic abilities made the entire event a delight. It was a fantastic experience having Ritu do my wedding and reception makeup. I was super apprehensive because firstly it was a telugu-tamil wedding which requires a subtle look which is very difficult to perfect (especially with me, my family and now husband being very picky!) and secondly it was an early morning wedding where time was of utmost importance. But Ritu was always very confident and extremely accomodative. She turned up at exactly 3am in the morning and got me ready much before time. The punctuality and promptness is much appreciated. She met me before and had a look at all my sarees. She was also able to match one makeup look for three dress changes I needed during the ceremony and it looked flawless with them all. My wedding functions were partly in Delhi (where Ritu is based) and partly outside Delhi. I have to say Ritu was a thorough professional. So lemme start! I found Ritu on wedmegood. The first time I spoke to her, I could get a vibe that she would do a good job. I trusted my guts and booked her just by looking at her portfolio. Once I was in Delhi, she called me to meet her with my outfits and discuss my look for the two functions( my sangeet and wedding). I gave her a brief idea about what I wanted and she listened very patiently. In spite of Delhi's traffic she reached dot on time and prepared the entire table for the make up. After doing a lot of research I had decided on Ritu as the make up artist for my engagement and wedding in March 2018. I had met her once before finalizing and once again with my outfits.
