I couldn’t be happier with my looks she gave me for each occasion. The staff is very pleasant and everything in the studio is so well organized that it helps in relaxing the bride before the event. Don't know about the makeup, but her attitude of talking to a customer specially corporate is worst then anybody could imagine. Don't ask for service guaranty as her attitude speaks more than then service. Makeup is a service industry and she needs to learn how to talk to customers. A lot of reviews here are paid. Do call and discuss before finalizing the vendor. Don't get fooled and ruin your D-Day.

I had booked party makeup, my bridal make up and some pre bridal services with Shrinkhla. I would rate her and her staff excellent in the work they do. They took care of what I wanted and what i was comfortable with and cooperated completely. For nail extension service that i availed, which was done by an on -call artist at shades, I did not find it very good and neither it was value for money. Barring one service I would highly recommend shades for all make ups and salon services.

To your response- I think I mentioned that you do bridal makeup well. Whether you opt to take 1 bride per day or 11, that day is more important to them than it is to your business for you. People have ups and downs in their day to day job lives but they get married once. The bride's maids are equally excited about their closed ones wedding. They don't wish to be left unattended even after making the booking 9 months in advance. Like I said nobody forced us to come to shades we liked the bridal makeup but that doesn't mean we won't give honest feedback. Sorry to know that you are closed for feedback. About the bargaining part - I thought that's what everyone does to increase their clientele or do you believe that you are the only one in town doing people a favor? I would suggest a more customer friendly tone and attitude in a service industry like yours which is purely for the classes rather than masses. Review- Good things first - Bridal makeup is absolutely flawless...she was my makeup artist for my wedding and we liked her so much that we booked for my sister too. And ofcourse we referred her to our cousins and friends and they all loved her work. BUT - there is clearly scope of much improvement for her to make a mark in this service industry. To list a few drawbacks, to which I'm sure many of her clients will agree :- 1) All of the support staff lack skills, to be precise they are just average. The staff that is usually assigned to do 'Party - makeup' (that is what they call the non-bridal makeup) does a white-wash kind of job. She will look at the color of your dress and paint your eyes of a similar shade. You can forget about subtle - natural looking makeup if you are wearing anything red. 2) Always overbooked...so if you have booked Shrinkhala(main makeup artist) for a non-bridal makeup and there are other 11 brides on the same day - your turn will be last even if you have arrived on time. So on my wedding day, my sister's makeup was done in just 5 mins just before she was about to close the salon and worse happened on my sister's wedding day when I had to wait for 5 hours for my turn even when the other brides had arrived late and we were on time. 3) Lack of professionalism and a complete chaos - Now when you are overbooked and have under-qualified staff to manage the regular working of the salon while you are busy doing makeup behind closed doors, things are bound to go for a toss. Shrinkhala will push you to get your makeup done by one of the support staff even if you have booked her and also get things done in random order ( get dressed first or hair done prior to makeup) without thinking that your dress or hair will get messed up if you will sit for a 25 min makeup session post that. 4) Makeup done for bride's maids is just average - I believe they do MAC for them for which she is less skilled than Airbrush used for the brides for which she does a good job In a nutshell - book her for your bridal Airbrush makeup only if you can promise to be on time on your wedding day, else you might have to wait endlessly too. I will not recommend her for non-bridal makeup.

She even got offended when I asked her to modify some things according to what I wanted, and not thinking about my big day took it personally. I gave this feedback then also&will say it again, makeup&hairstyle are things where understanding the need of your customer matters as much as the skill of artist..not everyone would want a dark heavy makeup that makes the face look artificial..that too after telling the same thing repeatedly.It was a bad experience overall..so much hassle was not expected out of a person whose reviews and ratings almost always seem to be appreciating her work.

I have admired Shrinkhala's work for quite some time now and recommended her to a few of my friends for their wedding so naturally for my own wedding she was the obvious and the only person I had in mind. The best part is that she is not scared to experiment and push her boundaries with stunning results ofcourse. Heer work is flawless and there are very few makeup artists you find who know to balance between subtle sheen and all out loud make up.
