My makeup was done by Aleena from the Sherie's salon. It was perfect and totally as per what I had requested her. Overall it was a great experience.

When it comes to hair and makeup, I only trust Aleena. She is very talented and creative. For my wedding, i had a particular look in mind.. she really put in time and effort to understand what exactly I had in mind, to understand the theme, outfits etc.. Let me tell you - I almost always know what I want, but playing sister-of-the-bride is a full time job and I had no time to plan my looks. Sherie and Aleena rid me of another job to be done. All my suggestions, confusions and references, were turned into three beautiful sister-of-the bride looks, with a smile on their faces. I went from a Smokey eyed Sangeet, day time south-indian wedding to a royal princess reception. Everytime i come to aleenas parlour i always go back with a great experience and aunty and aleena both of them are such warm people and they give full attention to their clients and provide them the best service, they get into the root cause of the problem and then suggest the best facial clean up which will suit the skin very few people actually sit down and take so much interest i think being a make-up artist and a hair stylist isnt a simple job its an art and aunty and aleena are simply fab at it . Whenever im in pune that's where i go and i don't even need to think twice because i know whatever i get from them has to be good :) from make to hair styling they make sure that you look the best for your main day ladiessss!!!

At the onset, I must first confess that I am an extremely finicky person and when it comes to my hair and make up, I can be quite bull-headed, honestly - this works; that will NOT work, etc. So when it came to my engagement last September in Pune, I reached out to Aleena requesting a trial/ rehearsal two weeks prior to the event. And I found myself surprised at her competence, charmed by her effusiveness and utterly captivated by the way she involved me in every decision. There was never any sense of "I'm the make up artist so pls listen to me". Quite the contrary - "what do you think of this?" or "How about doing that" She listens carefully to your requests and suggests improvements to them. But what is truly the best part about Aleena's work is that, in addition to understanding the scale and theme of the wedding and the look that you want to complement your outfits, Aleena takes the trouble (even as she discusses your requests and offers options) to get to know YOU better, to understand what sort of look you would pull off the best. She makes the entire process of selecting a look or style so much fun and engaging and trust me, you want to be able to have fun with your hair and make up artist at your wedding - you're going to be spending a LOT of time with her! :) She gave me a wonderful new look at each function - from engagement to mehendi to sangeet to wedding to post wedding to finally my reception the following evening. And each day, I glowed, from within and without - happy and reassured in the knowledge of my choices! lol. At the risk of rambling here (Aleena, we absolutely LOVE your work and i don't know if I've said it enough!), this lovely lady also made my mom look like a million bucks! Not to mention, my cousin and sister in law as well. If there is such a thing as a family make up artist, Aleena Mackar, I do believe we've found ours! I would recommend Aleena, without any reservations, to any bride (traditional or contemporary) who wants to make an impression on her big day.

Aleena spins magic be it on your Hair or with your Makeup she does a fabulous job. She made me look royal on my D-day that's what I exactly wished for. I did two looks with her one for the sangeet and the other for wedding and they turned out to be exquisite. She makes her clients feel special and comfortable. I was totally a pampered bride by her staff and herself. She knows exactly how to handle her customers. Brilliant job Aleena and team!!!!

Aleena takes the effort to understand the theme and style of the wedding; along with the brides outfits and skin type and then share her suggestions on the perfect group. It was no surprise that my cousin chose her as her wedding makeup and hair stylist; and every look from the mehendi, sangeet, wedding and reception were spot on. Definitely know who I am gettig as my stylist when I get hitched!!

My favourite make up artist is Aleena . She made me fall in love with myself on my wedding day. I never thought I could look this beautiful. I always was bit hestitant about make up as previously after make up I would look like I have put on hundred layers of make up . So for my wedding I needed to look the best and I hose Aleena !!! She made me look not only beautiful but also I can feel my skin breathe . I LOVED MY MAKEUP . I had to get ready by 9 AM and by the end of the day my makeup was as if I have just done it and I haven't done any touch up also. If my husband wouldn't have reminded me to clean up my face I would have slept with my make up on. Thanks to Aleena and team I always fall in love with myself whenever I see my wedding pics . I had a great experience and simply loved my wedding make up and hair! The elders in my family were really pleased too as I looked like a typical Maharashtrian bride :) Also to add, I guess there are always a lot of time crunches during weddings, but mine was a little too much with very little time between my wedding and reception for me to get ready for the reception. But Alina pulled it off beautifully! And though I was considering just touching up my wedding make up and keeping the same for the reception as well, but Alina kept her cool and went ahead with doing my hair and make up again and giving me an absolutely new look for the reception! Thanks a ton for that! :) I loved every look that was given to me for each of my 3 functions! :)
