I discussed at length the kind of makeup I wanted for my wedding day which involved a very tricky bindi design on my forehead, as part of the typical Bengali bride styling. Though she had never done that before, but if you look at the final design she made on the D-day, you would only think it was a pro’s work and fine art! She made me feel really comfortable and that was pretty important for me. You could tell from the moment you met her that she knew exactly what she was doing and that she loves her job : ) She was also very accommodating when it came to scheduling my trials and she did a wonderful job and I was completely sure, I would want Shuchi only to get me ready on my wedding day. The makeup enhanced my features in a subtle yet attractive manner. I wanted to look my best on my special day and yet look like ‘me’ and trust me when I say this, she nailed it and got it perfectly right! Even the saree draping was bang on, making me look like a traditional Bengali bride. I couldn’t have asked for a better makeup-artist and would highly recommend her! I must add how she focussed on her work inspite of all the chaos around while getting me ready, and did her work with utmost precision and patience.
