The results speak for themselves. Unbelievably diverse in capability. Extremely talented. "Sid" is doing some amazing work. He shot my sisters wedding, and besides his undoubted quality, a feature that stands out is how well he blends into the moment. Not once does he feel out of place. He can be the interactive photographer, bringing a quick smile to the subject, or he can be a flower on the wall, observing, waiting for that perfect candid moment. I have worked with other photographers who go out of their way to be the center of attention, calling the shots and taking away any natural flow to the proceedings. Not Sid. What you end up with are pieces of art that you will cherish for a life time. Highly recommended.

It is rare that you meet someone, find out they are a professional photographer, start posing to get yourself some photos and they oblige without a fuss. He came out with his camera in no time. Yes, that is how I came to know Siddhartha and the marvelous photographer he is. His attitude and work are a reflection of his love for camera and the magic he weaves with the lens. He has an eye for detail, is immaculate with each shot and at the root of all this detailing is his love for what he does. He epitomizes the true spirit of what passion means: something that drives you out of bed at 4 am and keeps you until 4 am the next morning. I have seen Siddhartha work tirelessly to deliver the best. Siddhartha's photos show the level of planning, his eye for detail; his uncanny ability to find frames for your shots will leave you spellbound with the end result and mesmerized at the same time.

My wife introduced me to Sid as a friend and a photographer. Knowing he was not into full time professional photography I was initially hesitant but after spending a good two hours and seeing some of his work I was confident that we are making a right decision by asking him to cover our engagement, pre-wedding and wedding ceremony. Engagement was a small private function and Sid captured some great moments. His skills were put to test for pre-wedding and wedding. For pre-wedding shoot he came with a very well thought out plan about the location, timing and we had multiple sessions of discussions to understand the timing and sequence, the event was executed meticulously per the plan. During the pre-wedding we (wife and me) were a bit conscious of the camera but Sid was very patient, gave us time to settle down and constantly kept us in splits, the resultant pictures were wonderful. He clicked some fantastic pictures at crowded places in Mumbai without any background noise. One of the things that I really liked was, we planned a shoot at day break and he was ready with his camera at 3 am that too with smile. His photography of the wedding ceremony was another highlight, it was totally non-intrusive with the rituals, we never had to pose between the rituals but he captured some excellent pictures. The creativity and framing of each and every picture was par excellence, he captured some excellent candid moments each of which could tell a story by itself. I would recommend Sid primarily for his professionalism, punctuality, ability to keep you in splits and de-stress the whole situation. He strives for perfection in each click and he can use the limitations of light or location to capture some great pictures. He made me realize ?A good camera doesn?t make one a good photographer but a good photographer can shoot great pictures even with a basic camera?. You give Sid any camera and he will shoot a perfect picture that you would treasure for rest of your life.

One of the best things of my wedding (that is apart from my husband), were the memories of it captured by Sid. He is the consummate professional, extremely funny, imaginative, great with guests and totally committed in delivering what we wanted. In fact, even better. He is someone who can do wonders even if there is very little out there to help. Not just that, he will patiently explain you the whys, hows and whats if you are around when he is taking pictures, making you appreciate not just the end result but the art of photography as well (I guess, him being a scientist in addition to a wonderful photographer, helps :-) ). I just cannot recommend him highly enough.

Siddhartha De is unique in his style, simply because of the brand of photography that he believes in. If you are like me, you probably will have liked hundreds of photography pages and another hundred pages of people who take portraits. What I think sets Siddhartha truly apart from the rest is the fact that he first started photography by capturing his own people, and becoming really good at it, before he even thought of taking it up seriously. He has this way of weaving in to take golden shots that are worth being framed. And unlike the other offerings in the market, he works alone, which actually is beautiful, because it ensures that the quality you get across the album compiled by this guy is uniform and brilliant, pixel by pixel. Siddhartha De, shine on ?

I have known Siddartha as a friend and have had the pleasure to see him work closely. His attention to detail and the uncanny ability to capture beautiful moments is what makes him special. He is not someone who clicks a thousand pictures in the hope that some will turn out good. He meticulously plans every shot working in the background and is never fussing all over you, shoving his camera in your face. Also his minimal post processing says a lot about his ability as a photographer and an artist.
