Suman is an absolute talent house! After anxiously doing a few disappointing make up trials, a friend recommended Suman Bhagat to me for my wedding. Her confidence and skills blew my mind in the trial itself. My mom and other women (young and old) in the family were unsure about getting make up done as they had never done it before. She explained everything to them beautifully and made them so comfortable! Suman helped me with skin care advice weeks before the wedding. She is extremely punctual, hardworking, patient, creative and has been my sounding board through the wedding. Once I shared my Pinterest board with her for my wedding looks- I dint have to worry about a thing. She improvised and skillfully designed the looks to suit my face and personality! She researched South Indian looks to help me in the process. Her team is very respectful and made all my guests very happy with their make up looks as well. I haven't had the best experience to be honest.I had booked her for 3 events (2 days) for my wedding.I do appreciate her punctuality and her efforts.She is warm and tries to understand what the client wants which we discussed in our trial meet but the hastiness in work which one never wants on their D day was annoying. In between my wedding and reception, she had another bridal booking at different place and again leaving that bride half way to attend me for my reception made me feel bad for that bride and it was upsetting as it could have been me godforbid!!She should have focussed her time and energy to one client on a day when its multiple events and do justice to it because then when the look doesn't turn out to be worth the amount charged in addition to all the haste, it is quite upsetting. Although I had confirmed with her about navvari saree draping(which was already stitched although), she was unable to do even the pallu and thankfully my aunt and friends came through and helped me with the draping,jewellery,etc which ideally should have been managed by her team because that took away their time for getting ready and sadly they weren't able to get ready in time for my wedding.So all that was focused was just the face whereas for a bride her entire look(makeup,hair,draping as agreed upon) should have been looked for by the makeup artist's team. As well for siders, there was no draping provided as they were only 3 of them for makeup,hair and 1 assistant so no time for siders' draping, siders managed their own draping. I would have definitely wanted a more seamless experience with her team considering everthing was discussed and confirmed beforehand and focus on one client instead of juggling between brides and locations on same day when the events are short-timed while I kept worrying whether she has reached in time for the reception hence wouldn't go for her again or suggest to anyone,especially Maharashtrian wedding.As much confidence I had in her after the trial meet, it did not turn up as expected on the wedding day.She was called at 9 am onwards only on the wedding day and not 7 am when the wedding was at 4 pm so it is ridiculous on her part to state false things just to cover up .It is obvious for events to run late on the day howmuchever we try to stick to the schedule (hoped she would understand this after being a makeup artist for so long) so instead of doing the blame game and making false statements, may be she should focus and improve on the service. Suman is the the worst thing happened on my wedding weekend. She totally killed my wedding vibe on my wedding day. Very unprofessional and rude ! The entire time during my makeup, she was fighting with her husband on call. All my looks were pre decided. She said she will be able to replicate the exact same hair look on me, and on the wedding day she totally messed up my hair. She was fighting and shouting on my cousin during my feras coz she left something in my room. Save yourself some trouble, and please DO NOT BOOK Suman for any of your event !!!
