First of all never compliment the camera, remember the camera is nothing without a skilled photographer Here are some of the compliments you might think using “You really have an eye for detail” “It would never occur to me to look at it this way/at this angle” “I like the play of light and shadow in this one” “You have a way with colours” “You are able to find something interesting in the most mundane scene” “Their personality really comes across in your shots” (in case of people shots) “You have a distinct style, I can always tell a shot has been taken by you”
