I made advance booking for my wedding in March 2022 and she cancelled the booking in May 2022. Even though she didn’t give me any valid reason for the cancellation. She just texted me that she won’t be able to manage that day due to some circumstances. They have to cancel the booking apologies for inconvenience. I asked her for the reason but she didn’t even bother to reply. She is way too rude and unprofessional. I was stressed for a moment but i was happy afterwards that God has saved me. My marriage was on 11 dec as it was sunday on that day so the makeupartists from whom i wanted to get ready were already booked but somehow I got a booking from one of the makeupartist. I thank to god that I didn’t get ready from Tanya. I won’t even recommend her to anybody. Never expected this kind of experience. I should have read the comments here before booking her for my special day.

I would like to warn anybody who wants to get her makeup done by tanya…. She has the worst attitude , big time liar, she cancelled my makeup a week before the wedding…. Please beware of her ….

She has a big attitude problem. My friend booked with her months before the wedding and payed advance. 10 days before the wedding she backed out saying it was a personal reason and to our surprise the same day on my frnds’s wedding, she was doing a destination bride makeup. She is a big time liar and would do anything for money and fame. Pathetic attitude problem. Ppl like her shouldnt be in this business at all.

She has pathetic attitude. I called her to know the makeup charges and she told it will be 55k and i told her that dates will be fix in two- three days then i’ll make payment for advance booking. So i called her after three days and told her i called you previously for booking now dates are final. And obviously she showed her bad attitude and said “I can’t come to you location for booking” but previously she was okay for my location. And thats why i told her that you were for my location and she said “Why you have not previously booked makeup , now if you want you need to come to my location that is 2 hours far from my location” . I told her i am the bride and how i can travel 4 hours up-down so please you can take travel charges. But because of her bad attitude problem she said ‘No’. I don’t understand why people support this type of artists who has bad attitude problem. A big “No” for her. If you want to be happy on you wedding day , Don’t book her otherwise she’ll spoil you whole day by showing her attitude.

Its understandable if a makeup artist reschedules or cancels your booking due to a contingency, but on the top of that if they have an unapologetic attitude, Tanya Kaur is one of them. infact, she would ace that list. 15 days before my wedding, she texts me that she would not be able to make it due to unavoidable reasons. (I did my booking with her 6 months back)when I tried to call her next day, she stopped picking up my calls and starts messaging me with other MUA recommendations. Not once did she apologise for not showing up and cancelling on the 11th hour. Didnt even have guts to pickup my call and talk. She has a big attitude problem. I really dont understand why do people forget their roots and where they come from because at the end of the day, its our money you MUAs are spending to have a luxurious lifestyle. I will never ever recommend anyone to get ready from her. Makeup skills are secondary, but id you donot have basic etiquette to deal with other, you shouldnt be in this business at all.

Me and my sister have been following Tanya on social media for a while as we really admired her make up style. She ensures to give a natural makeup look for the bride and family. We were looking forward for the makeup on the wedding day. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the end. There were many things which went wrong: 1. Uncooperative hair stylist - Tanya did great makeup for me, however she has an extremely uncooperative hair stylist. The stylist did not care what my sister wanted. My sister kept repeating how she wanted her hair to be set, but the stylist did not listen. 2. Incorrect jewellery placement - The stylist didn’t place the passa correctly for my sister (after she left, I fixed the passa). My sister had a small passa, which the stylist should have known how to place. 3. Dupatta not pinned properly - She didn’t pin my dupatta properly as well. My dupatta was heavy but the stylist should know how to fix and pin a heavy dupatta so that it doesn’t keep falling. In my entire wedding, the dupatta kept falling of my shoulder along with my blouse. 4. Rushed through the process - Tanya and her team just rushed through our service. She accepted a booking in Jaipur which is more than 10-12 hours away from Jalandhar. She just wanted to leave for Jaipur and didn’t care if we were happy with the look or not. I was waiting for my photographer to take dupatta draping shots, but she didn’t want to wait. She left the room and kept the hair stylist to fix the dupatta in her absence. Me and my sister were so disappointed with her service that even if her makeup is good, I would never recommend her to anyone. It is not worth ruining your mood on your special day.

I would never ever recommend Tanya Kaur to any bride. I booked her for my engagement makeup and cocktail makeup in May 2020 and my wedding is in November. She texts me in September that she won’t be able to make it for my engagement makeup. The only reason she gives me for cancelling the booking was that she can’t make it because of some personal reason. She has no idea how stressful it could be for a bride to find a new makeup artist. I have read similar negative reviews from other brides as well that she cancels bookings end moment. Please beware brides. I didn’t want to take any risk so I cancelled my cocktail booking as well. Please think before you book her .

Tanaya Kaur has a pathetic attitude and very poor work ethics. How can someone afford exhibiting bad behavior in this profession. I booked her for two different looks on the same day, for my pheras and wedding reception. First, she arrives 30 mins late, with no prior intimation that her studio would be locked. Then she throws her "how dare you question my unpunctuality" attitude. She took less than an hour to ready me, ofcourse she didn't do her best, my face looked painted and cakey after 2 hours. My pheras were at 6:30 pm, she was supposed to come at the venue for the reception makeup. She gave me an ultimatum that she won't show up if it gets delayed beyond 8pm. While I was sitting in the rituals, my best friend was busy over the phone, pleading her to come to the venue. The whole drama that she pulled off was beyond imagination. And for the second look, she hardly did anything, just changed the lips from nude to plum. Opened my hair, curled them and that's it. I think I could've done that on my own. Worst was, When my friend was about to make the final payment (these guys generally accept only cash), She literally snatched the money from her hands and left the room. It was nightmare getting ready from her. I would never recommend anyone to book her, never. Would rate her: Makeup - 2/5 Behavior - negative hundred

It felt like my best friend was my makeup artist! Tanya was an absolute God-send on my D-day. She helped keep not just me, but everyone around me calm as well, went about the tasks in a very organized manner and was able to have me and my best friend ready much earlier than the required time.

I made the bookings 8 month prior to the wedding and just today i.e 14th Jan, my wedding is on 9th Feb, I got this confirmation that she won’t be able to make it as she had some wedding at Delhi. This is such a casual attitude. You guys are appreciated for hour work and of this is the kind of damn attitude you carry, them God bless you!! Highly unprofessional make up artist and pathetic service ever seen Tanya Kaur was booked for my sister wedding this Sunday ,8/12/19. I would rate her services and Make up experience below average based on below mentioned reasons. Firstly- Declining to visit for second look if the wedding function runs bit behind time. I think as part of professionalism ,client satisfaction is of prime importance as well as commitment .Wedding day is the most important day in the life of a girl.If you chose to be part of the profession that makes the bride special then kindly show bit of commitment to your profession .Arrogance and rude attitude is not acceptable. Secondly - In capability to accept constructive criticism. If we are paying for your service then you owe to listen to your client .I think these guys lack that basic sense of business ethics. I would not recommend this particular artist unless you really wish to ruin your special day

I found Tanya's profile via Instagram while I was looking for make up artists for my wedding functions in Ludhiana. Since I live in Delhi and have no idea about the makeup artists in Ludhiana finding the right makeup artist was a huge challenge. I was worried because I wanted to go with the nude makeup look and finding the right makeup artist who would tastefully do what I had in mind was very important. My family and the other portals recommended some names but I was not convinced. After going through tons of makeup artists I shortlisted her and I am glad that I did. After having a short conversation over the phone I decided to pay her a visit. That's when I got the confidence that yes, she is the one I have been looking for. Also please reconfirm your booking timings again and again if you want her as she turned up barely an hour ago to get me ready for my anand karaj! Tanya Kaur was my makeup artist and she is the best. I love her work. For my sangeet she gave me nice punjabi look with braid.
