Very bad experience. Nobody tried to co ordinate with us. "Sir trust us, wedding will be covered" was the guarantee. No family interviews, nothing that was promised was given. "Getting ready" photos and videos were just not available. Upon confronting they pathetically said "APKA VENUE GANDA THA TOH PHOTOS ACCHI KAISE AAENGI". Such pathetic and rude bunch of people. Will never ever recommend. They first sweet talk you into giving them business and then these looters are nothing but thieves.

Do not follow the time frame. But work quality is good. Once I get all my deliverables I shall be in a position to write a comprehensive review. Aakash should be more prompt in seeing messages and attending phone calls. Shiva appears to be a competent leader

I would give a mixed review. They were good during the wedding, clicked each and every moment. But there is delay in the delivery. it is been 3 months since we are waiting for the videos and trailers.

Pretty elaborated review here. Shiva will be the most sweetest person until he gets the business and later will be the most arrogant human being with zero professionalism and zero customer empathy. We booked Candid House for our wedding on May 14 in Jaipur. Paid 50% advance which was about 70K. 4 days before the wedding functions, the govt banned weddings in Rajasthan because of the 2nd wave of the pandemic. Govt also circulated that the vendors will have to refund the advance amount. We then planned to do wedding in a different state with only immediate family members. Asked Shiva if he can travel if required, he agreed but later we realized that the norms are so strict that even the grooms family was facing challenges with the travel from rajasthan to UP due to covid negative test reports and ban on internal vehicle movement. So we weren’t not sure if the wedding will really happen. We instead requested Shiva for a refund as per govt regulations. He didn’t respond for multiple days(he will stop looking at whatsapp messages, will stop picking up calls, and whenever he does pick, he gives a follow up date). We had anyway went ahead with the wedding in UP with the local vendors whom we literally booked on the day of the wedding after figuring out groom’s travel. Shiva refused to refund stating that we cancelled the services even though his team was ready to travel in pandemic. He straight away asked us to go legal, which was uncalled for. When we weren’t sure about the groom’s travel and state restrictions, it didn’t make sense for us to get his team’s flight tickets done and commit on the services and take responsibility of the team’s negative rt pcr tests. If it was that easy, we could have figured out the wedding easily and made all vendors travel tbh. He later asked us to take a credit note instead which will be transferrable and lifetime valid. We took time to think on it because photography isn’t an essential service. My husband called him after a few days that we are okay to take a credit note and he can share an email confirmation over it. To which he refused stating it’s cancellation of the services hence he will speak to his team and get back. And since then he isn’t responding. Literally ghosted us. His skills maybe good but zero on customer empathy and professionalism. That too when the entire humankind is going through a pandemic crisis

I saw the work of The Candid House in my brother's wedding and we are so dissatisfied with what was delivered .. We has one team each for bride and groom side thinking it ll be easier to coordinate. But unfortunately the team couldn't recognise the closed ones from the crowd. I liked the wedding highlights video but nothing more than that. It was a bad photography team and I personally do not recommend them to anyone.
