We connected with The Memory trunk for our parents 25th anniversary, it’s almost like the universe lead us to them and hands down they are the best ❤️ It was a very intimate event and the team immediately felt like family, the efforts they took were commendable, they did not want to miss even a single moment and when the video came, our whole family sat down together to watch it, it was completely a work of art, we laughed, smiled had happy tears they curated such a wholesome experience for us we will always cherish these moments, Will choose the memory trunk over and over again ❤️

I chose the Memory Trunk for my wedding because I wanted candid photography. I discussed at the very beginning that I wanted: (a) candid photography, (b) traditional videography and (c) a video of highlights, of all the six functions, including pre-wedding events. I was assured that it will be done and that a “local videographer” would be brought in for the traditional video because the Memory Trunk did not have one in their team. I was told not to worry about it because shooting a traditional video is the simplest part and doesn’t require a specialist. The entire payment was charged in advance. When I received the videos a few months after the wedding, I was shocked to find that the so-called traditional videographer had not recorded most part of my functions. What I got in the name of a traditional video was just a longer version of highlights (short slow-motion clips). I thought it might be due to over-editing, so I asked for the full unedited video footage of my functions, for which I was charged extra. I was devastated to find that there was no proper video footage recorded at all. The whole idea of traditional videography is to continuously record everything that is happening at the event and there are special cameras for this purpose. When I asked about the lack of proper traditional video, I was told that the videographer did not have the camera that could record continuously for long time without heating up, which is why he recorded only short clips! Why was I not informed about this when I was discussing my requirement of a traditional video at the beginning? To add insult to injury, the said videographer, when asked about the less video footage, is supposed to have said that “there was nothing much happening there, so what was I supposed to record?” while my friends and family sang and danced the whole time. What else was supposed to be happening, I wonder! I ended up paying almost double of what I would have paid to any other vendor and, on top of that, ended up being provided a so-called traditional video of just 16 minutes for a function that lasted over three hours! When I was infuriated by the loss of precious memories and asked to speak directly with the videographer who had failed to shoot even basic video footage of my most special occasion, I was surprisingly told that due to confidentiality, the identity of the videographer cannot be disclosed to me. Over a year has passed, I still deeply regret engaging the videographer from the Memory Trunk because I do not have even the basic videos of several important wedding functions that included dancing, singing and moments of getting together with friends and family. While Kriti Aggarwal, who did the candid photography and the interviews, was very professional throughout and the photographs were worthwhile, but the shock of not having a basic traditional video covering the functions of my most special days is a shock that me and my family will never get over. I wish I had been told in the very beginning to make my own arrangement for traditional videographer since they did not have a proper professional or the necessary equipment for it. I hope that this blunder does not happen to anyone else’s wedding because after all, the whole point is to preserve these precious memories for a life time, which is permanently scarred for me.

Living outside of India and searching for online vendors was initially challenging. Most vendors I connected with over the phone tended to do more talking than listening. However, I was fortunate to come across Kriti through a friend. I reached out to Kriti and connected with her through a video call. What set Kriti apart was her attentive listening and her inquiries about my vision for the pictures and videos. I was clear about what I didn't want my photographer to do, and I left the rest to Kriti. Communicating with her through text messages, video calls, and phone calls was seamless. Despite my wedding being postponed twice, Kriti patiently waited for me to confirm definite dates. Kriti's team came up with innovative and creative ideas for poses and videos. They understood that I, as a bride, wasn't fond of posing, so they improvised around me. The candid shots at the end were absolutely stunning. The team made sure we felt comfortable in front of the cameras, arrived on time, and, most importantly, took care of me and made me feel special throughout the entire wedding week. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend The Memory Trunk to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable photographer. Let Kriti and her team work their magic!

While planning for my wedding, I randomly stumbled upon The Memory Trunk on the internet and thank God i did. Ever since the first meeting I knew booking them for the wedding would be the best decision because of how easily i was able to communicate with Kriti and convey everything i was looking for. From checking out the content on their blog to conversations with Kriti herself. The entire process felt so comfortable and easy. What I wanted was memories from my wedding to be real, candid and personal. Stories and emotions to reflect from the pictures years from now when we look at them. The team was right on point with that. It is a team of true professionals, best at what they do. Always on time, always on point with the brief, never interrupted any guest or family, no interference amongst team members. Always ready with ideas accordingly to the venue and decor and always ready to help with the little things. I was surprised on how little i had to actually say or worry about. They completely take the burden off their client. Creatively, the use of space, lighting, decor, color and theme, in every frame is well thought but still real and not posed. Their attention to detail, and to every member of the family, understanding our individual personalities and capturing that in pictures is something I didn’t expect and haven’t seen before. Seeing the pictures now makes me truly happy and the storytelling of the entire ceremony is everything I could have asked for and more. Also, can’t miss how Kriti truly gave me a well guided personalised experience from months before the wedding to still keeping in touch, reminding me of little details where we could add our own touch with suggestions of songs, references, themes and what not. I felt such a genuine interest and concern on their end truly develops a family like bond which I personally value most. I truly appreciate how much thought was put into every single event. I have no words to tell you how amazingly Kriti and her team has captured each and every moment of our wedding, Every picture and every frame tells a story and has captured every emotion in its raw self so so so very well! Having Kriti around also felt like having a family member/friend around. She makes you feel so comfortable, the team is very professional and At times Kriti even helped me out with other stuff that went around during the wedding. I can really say that having Memory Trunk on board was one of our best decision and investment for our wedding. Highly highly recommended ❤️
