"Two Fat Ladies" We started planning our wedding in Jan 2021. Meeting Namrata (Nikki) of Two Fat ladies (TFL) , who came recommend from within the family, was the 1st of the best that has hapenned. The 11 months that followed was sheer pleasure. Nikki works along with so much patience, always observing and listening, to detail the minutest of our whims, fancies and dreams. Two Fat Ladies, helped us, stitch together a dream on a Live canvas, so beautifully. The hiccups amidst the covid second wave, the uncertainity, the tensive discussions and mood swings galore, but Nikki had that calming smile and "Not to worry, will be done" attitude. The planning was huge, events, gifts, decor, logistics, food, drinks, entertainment, photos n filming. Nikki religiously spent hours with us and on call, looping in the bride and her mother who patched in from Kolkata. She may not be a drinker, but her guidance on Alcohol and cocktails were just great. Finally came the week before the D'day. We had 3 run throughs for the wedding which at a point we thought were excessive, but that's where perfection originates. Room allocations were hectic, the running in between and changes. But she was our sole fighter in all of it. The hotel had to oblige every time. Any time of the day or night, the early check - ins or late night events, the after party, she was personally there all the time, cheering her team. All guests were attended to with a "TFL" touch, very patiently and with great humility. Varsha, our sous chef, was brilliant. Made notes of our likes and dislikes, through out the food tasting. Helped us around the food changes with ease and constantly communicated with the Chef's for every detail. The bride's dream of a Dessert Bar, was perfectly and beautifully executed. It was the "show stopper"❤️ The Rain gods decided to cool the heat on the final day. We had nothing to worry. Nikki and her team jumped at the opportunity and turned the entire setup around, indoors. No one, I repeat no one even thought this was possible. The Mandap, the stage, the musicians, the food, Et Al. All the team members and every shadow provided for the family were amazing and smiling all the time. Thank you all, really with the Bottom of our Hearts. In 1 line would like to say ..
