I had a horrible experience with this mehendi artist. I decided to book her after seeing her work on a relative and I was 100% confident that she was the one I wanted for my mehendi. I was very particular and adamant that my mehendi was beautiful and intricate. Veena came with 2 other ladies. She only worked on 1 of my hands and I did notice that her assistant who was working on my other hand was doing a better job. She was more neat and creative with her designs. Apart from paying her an enormous amount for her assistants to do most of her work, there was a major attitude issue that I faced with her. She was instructed to work on exactly 5 people out of which she decided to leave my mothers mehendi half way to do someone else's. Because of this, my mother missed a function that was ongoing at that time and she was sitting in the room waiting for someone to complete her mehendi. The entire experience was so disappointing and ended in an argument and fight because she was incapable of doing her job properly after flying her all the way from India to Thailand. The only positive thing I can say is that my mehendi colour was beautiful and exactly how I wanted it to be. Also, her assistant made figure drawings on each palm which were executed really well.
