Working with Ankush ji was an incredible and memorable experience. Ravindr ji spent over 7-8 hours at my home doing not only my bridal mehendi, but mehendi for my sisters and my mom. She only left the house nearly at midnight, despite having to drive two hours to get back home. As Ankush ji was doing my henna, I was struck by the intricacy and perfection of her work. Not only that, her design for me incorporated elements I loved but was truly a unique and completely new design. I asked for some custom elements (for example, an elephant and lotuses) and Ravindra ji effortlessly incorporated these into her design. For each of us who got our mehendi done, the designs were unique and custom to our preferences and style. The henna that Ankush ji mixes is the best I have seen yet. The henna color turned a dark, beautiful maroon within a day or so, and has stayed that rich color for several days through to my wedding and after, even on the backs of my hands and my feet. It was always my dream to have dark mehendi on my wedding day, and Ankush ji made that dream come true. Her skill and artistry aside, Ankush ji made me feel comfortable and peaceful ahead of my wedding day. he set the tone for all of the wedding proceedings. I am so thankful and honored that she did my bridal mehendi.
