As i was to be dressed up in south indian bride so my only concern was the kanjivaram saree drape and hairstyle .to satisfy me she gave me the whole look trial before itself so that i can be assured .she gave me natural glowy skin with vibrant eyes as i wanted it . She had been extremely professional and was very punctual regarding every function of mine even at 4.45 am function she was there at the venue by 3:00 am with her team . The more I say about Jaslin the lesser it is. I, like any other bride was nervous and extremely worried about my makeup. I am based out of New York City and have little knowledge about makeup ( BB cream and a lip gloss is my game :p). I looked up Jaslin on Wed Me Good just 3 weeks before my wedding. I contacted her on whatsapp and let her know the details and what I wanted, but did not finalize her as I was considering other makeup artists too. She was so understanding and patient. Being so far away, it was very hard to coordinate, I was busy with classes and the time difference was a pain! Just 10 days before the wedding she agreed to meet my sister and coordinate with her. My sister spoke to her and suggested, I go with her as she was the most cooperative of all the makeup artists we spoke to. We finally decided to go with her, pretty last minute. As usual, when I arrived (I live in mumbai), I was all over the place and had no time. My wedding, Sangeet, Mehendi and Haldi took place at Mundota palace and Fort (destination wedding). Just a few days before the functions I sent her my outfit. I also sent her some makeup pics and complicated hairstyles I wanted. She assured me that she will get flowers that would suit my outfit and hair and asked me to just trust her. Finally the day arrived! For the day functions(Haldi and Mehendi) her senior artist, Nikita did my hair and makeup and omg! I looked flawless! I mean flawless! Nikita was so friendly and convincing! On the Mehendi and Haldi day she gave me braids with such beautiful flowers. She was so cooperative, she stayed till evening for the night functions too! Jaslin did my makeup for the evening functions, on the Sangeet day, she suggested I get a unicorn eye look, as my dress was colorful. I was skeptical at first, but she’s so good with her convincing skills! Cause why not! She knows what she’s doing! She was so sweet! She must have complimented my eyes and skin atleast 100 times if not more! :) My Sangeet look is my personal favorite as I looked like a Disney movie princess! I am not kidding! My hair was braided with orchid flowers and to perfection! All thanks to Nikita!! 🥰Just the way I wanted! On Haldi day Nikita put light makeup before Haldi. I would suggest all brides to do that, as all the makeup nicely gets washed off post Haldi and you’re fresh for the wedding day! :) Nikita put a light yellow and pink eye makeup for me which looked so so good during the day! And my hair omg! Perfect again! In the evening, the D day was a bengali wedding. Jaslin made sure she gave me the perfect Bengali bride look. The eyes ❤️❤️ The eye make up is her USP. She will spend time on your eye and make them look like twin sisters! They looked fab! My face was lightened up! I felt so confident on all the days! My words can’t do justice!
