In early 2021, my husband (then boyfriend) Malhar and I started searching for the perfect photographer/videographer to cover our wedding. And almost within weeks we came across a picture of a family friend's wedding. Those pictures were beautiful - Capturing the beauty of the bride, capturing the feelings of a mother, and the joyous moments. Our friend willingly shared the wedding teaser, highlights and movie with us. And looking at that, we were certain that our wedding will be captured only and only by 'The Grape Studio'. Even before the wedding date, Nisarg made sure he knew all the details - what our outfits were like, what was the decor like, if we wanted anything specific. He certainly planned and thought our wedding through. During the wedding, the entire The Grape Studio' team was up and about making sure every moment was captured. They had great suggestions as well. Nisarg insisted that we do a couples interview. He interviewed Malhar and I on the beach (which I will never forget for it was so beautiful) and added lines and excerpts from this interview, which probably gives the most personalized touch to our wedding short film. We were certain the outputs - pictures and videos will be amazing. But when we saw them, I can say this for sure that The Grape Studio team went miles and bounds to make this perfect for us. The littlest detailing, the connections, the syncing with the songs - perfect! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic, and the final photos exceeded our expectations. One of a Kind! We knew Mansi from a few years back, and we knew since then that she’s the one we would want to capture memories for us on our special day. Every detail is as important to Mansi and the team as it was for us. The team was so enthusiastic about the shoot and always wanted to have “The Perfect” shot for all the captures they have taken. We got the photos and videos which were One of a Kind. We saw them over and over countlessly. The cinematography was so great and aligned with the lyrics of the songs, that we felt being in that moment again while watching it. We are so glad to have them capture our lifetime memories!

DO NOT HIRE these thieves. Don’t ruin the most important day of your life with these people. Mediocre photography business ruined by the ego of good-for-nothing husband. I am a YouTuber with 200k+ subscribers and used to cover wedding stills and videos myself 5 years ago. Today, you see so many ads on instagram by wedding studios who send their ‘teams’ of plug and play photographers. You are tricked by showreels of the main founders to pay and you get mediocre work from somebody else. We had spent months planning our dream wedding on a beach in Goa and wanted to have someone authentic and experienced, definitely not a ‘team’ of a studio. We had seen Mansi’s work and liked it. As she was the main photographer, we hired The Grape Studio. Little did we know that this business is run her egoist good-for-nothing tag along husband who is a master of arm twisting. They will agree to everything you say until you give them the advance and it becomes too late for you to hire someone else. In our case, they flipped from all the agreed terms after taking advance on day one of our wedding. Here is a list of things that happened. 1: They can not be trusted. On our wedding night, Nisarg threatened us to delete all the footage. That’s right! I had already paid 80% of the agreed amount and I was willing to pay the balance 20% just to get the footage. But logic does not work with an egoist like Nisarg. He enjoyed threatening us. It was written agreement to transfer all the footage to us before leaving the venue and I had also given him a HDD on their arrival. The Grape Studio breached the agreement and did not follow it. They said, ‘footage’ only means ‘photos’ or ‘videos’, you can’t have both. This is wrong at so many levels. 2: Super Duper Late delivery We had a function at our hometown 5 days after our wedding and the ‘traditional video’ was to be screened there. It was agreed but we could not screen it because they flipped. We have still not received the final video even after 15 months of our wedding. I’ve given up and hence am writing this review. 3: Low artistic calibre It was our wedding and we were paying them to shoot us. But they were busy making their showreel to fish their future clients. They shot our wedding the way they wanted for their portfolio, not for us. Our requests fell on deaf ears. I’m a cinematographer and I knew exactly what kind of photos I wanted, they did not listen. They did not show the pictures while shooting and left us no scope to improve our pose and posture. Nisarg is really insecure. I remember him stating multiple times ‘hume bhi knowledge hai’ during the wedding while he clearly has no clue. By the way, he is not even a photographer. You can ask him yourself. He just enjoys a free holiday during her wife’s work trips pretending to be a photographer. 4: Poor technical knowledge of camera We had a beautiful beachside venue but because they did not know how to set exposure, the waves, sea and the sky were blown out in all the videos. It was a written agreement to shoot at 60fps so that I can use it for my vlog. After taking advance money Nisarg said he will do whatever he likes and shot the entire wedding at 50fps. I really don’t understand this behaviour. Technically both 50fps and 60fps have same data rate and would not have made any difference to them. But they chose to do the opposite of what was agreed just to show us ‘who’s the boss’ at our own wedding. Why? It is in the written agreement to capture our entire sangeet event including the anchoring part because it had stories from our lives performed by our friends, but Grape Studio did not record it. They did not even have a tripod to record the Sangeet. 5: Poor technical knowledge of mic They said they will bring a wireless mic system (everyone has it today), but they did not. Instead, they showed us a mic fit on the camera and said ‘it has no wires, so it is wireless’. They think of their clients as fools. I had to give them my mics to record the audio, which they eventually did not use. That’s correct, our wedding video has no interview/video bytes of our parents, grandparents, friends and family members because Mansi and Nisarg do not know how to record audio (and use it in the edit). The audio of our sangeet was not captured. So in our video, everyone is dancing on random songs that their editor has put on the video. Our welcome speech to our family was not recorded. 6: No privacy I am a vlogger and we had a written agreement to not share our photos anywhere but they posted them on their instagram anyway. This is before delivering our photos and videos to us. This is before us posting a single photo on our social media. Nisarg kept saying he is an ‘artist’ and this is his ‘art’ and he has all the right to post them wherever he wants. But before taking money from us, he agreed to not posting our pics without our permission. We had a really long fight and reported their instagram from multiple accounts to take our photos down from their insta. 7: Very Bad attitude They insisted to have a room on the property and we gave them. Their team was staying at another hotel at walking distance. Every night Nisarg would call me multiple times to get them dropped. While the team members understood the unavailability of cabs and were willing to walk. The distance was literally smaller than the resort where we were shooting. 8: The team saved us. Though we were very unlucky to have Nisarg and Mansi at our wedding, we were blessed with Yash, Kush and Savan who were very polite and helpful. They could see how Nisarg was taking advantage of the situation. They made sure to listen to our requests and worked really hard to compensate for the wrongdoings of Nisarg. They were open to try new things and different angles. They always had a smile on their face, unlike Nisarg. I have not received what I was promised (forget quality). We are seeking legal advice to deal with them. They probably had the most fun and good looking couple to shoot with a 200k+ subscribers. Instead of collaborating, they decided to arm twist. Do you want to get threats to delete footage on your wedding night? My Wife’s version: It has been more than one year and even today, we do not have a single wedding picture to hang in our new home. Thank you Mansi and Nisarg, for the lesson of a lifetime. These two con artists looted my family and ruined a very sacred and special ceremony. I could forgive a bad artist who tried their best, but I can never forgive an egotistical maniac who purposely destroyed our precious memories and made us beg for what was rightfully ours. The Grape Studio is Mansi the photographer and Nisarg her husband who accompanies her everywhere. Basically his one job is to block direct communication with her. All social media and email accounts are operated by Nisarg and they do not give you Mansi's number at any point. Now I realise that they must have done this to many others in the past, that's why everything was so flawlessly executed and we were completely blocked out once they were gone. Before we transferred their big fat fee of Quarter to FOUR LAC RUPEES for covering our destination wedding (stay food and transport extra), they were the sweetest and most promising photographers we could find. But we only got to know their scamming reality after they got to our wedding. Our ceremonies were a three day affair in November. On the first day of our wedding, Nisarg got into a fight with my family about the kind of pictures we wanted (all we asked for was a different background) and threatened to delete all data from memory cards and drop the wedding assignment. He stopped shooting and told me to go find another photographer. We are only a middle class army family and were really stretching ourselves to pay their hefty fees because we really really wanted our big day to be treasured for years to come. We had paid in advance and the wedding had already started. Left without any option, I personally begged him in tears to complete the shoot and after making my husband and me apologize, he agreed. Needless to say, there was a lot of stress and constant friction throughout the wedding. He made every shoot a nightmare while Mansi refused to speak to us. On the final day of the wedding, Nisarg refused to give us our pictures and took all the data with him. Over the next many months, we kept trying to get our data and they kept telling us they are shooting elsewhere, busy with other orders and then vacationing abroad. We had to involve a family lawyer just to extract the unedited raw files from them AFTER PAYING THEIR FEES IN FULL. Yes, my family paid 100% of their fee and even today after more than one year has passed, this conniving pair has not given us any edited pictures, videos or family interviews. We became a laughing stock in front of our families for spending a bomb on a bunch of thieves. More than the money, we both deeply regret welcoming two scammers into our home who stole beautiful moments that will never come back. Instead of making us feel special, they made the whole experience very very bitter. My husband and I have kept records of our email and text communications as well as phone call recordings. Nisarg has lied, used improper language and thrown several tantrums over the past year as we tried to get our data back. When we can afford it, we will file a lawsuit against them and demand for justice. Hopefully my review saves someone else from falling into their trap. I am 100% certain that they will write a response to my review denying anything of this sort ever happened. But if you are considering working with them, please feel free to contact me and I will show you proof and hopefully save you from irreversible damage. Don’t risk it. DO NOT HIRE NISARG and MANSI or you’ll be writing a review like this after a year of your wedding.

When we started planning our wedding, we were clear that we wanted a photographer who can capture our wedding in a candid and real manner as both of us were never big fans of posed pictures. We were so excited to find Mansi’s work and were immediately awestruck by how beautiful all the photos and videos were. Planning a wedding during a pandemic in another country was challenging but Nisarg was great in providing us with all the detailed information we needed. Nisarg and Mansi were also very involved in all aspects of our wedding planning and provided some great suggestions that made our wedding events seamless. Mansi and team captured so many stunning, real, heartwarming and genuinely candid pictures of us that we were so overjoyed when we saw the final outcome!! They exceeded our expectations in every aspect! Most importantly, they managed to capture all the important moments without interfering with the rituals and customs; so much so that we didn’t even realize when they were filming us or taking our pictures! They took advanced booking money for services which they never provided. I booked them for photography for my wedding on April 15 2020. I paid them well in advance because they said that I needed to pay ASAP to secure a spot. They did not provide me with a receipt and told me that they will give it when I reach India for my wedding. My wedding got cancelled due to COVID-19. They said that if I go to India in future they will provide me with the service as promised. However, now they are moving to Canada and haven’t even notified me of this. They are highly unprofessional and not at all customer friendly.

Mansi covered my haldi, wedding and reception photography...Not only is her photography skills exceptional but her warmth and attitude is very friendly and gives a sense of ease and comfort.
