KK Resorts Jammu is the WORST MANAGED place in Jammu. It has a very good banquet hall and a huge parking lot. It has well furnished rooms also which is tempting for people coming to celebrate their functions from outside Jammu. But the maintenance and management are awful. All rooms are stinking. Linen is worn out and dirty. If the staff is indifferent, Manager, some Pravesh(?) has the worst attitude. Instead of resolving the customer issues he resorts to intimidating perhaps in the belief that customer has no choice once he occupies and begins his celebration events. A very rude and arrogant bully who shouts at the top of his voice and cares nothing about his duty to service the customer to his satisfaction. During wedding of my nephew recently we stayed in their rooms from 03-08 March 23, and I was in Room No 106. This room had some intense foul smell making it difficult to stay. When he was requested to see the problem for himself, he displayed a very obstinate attitude, asking us to find out the cause of smell. Worst, he began shouting at top of his voice without any regard for our age, gender, dignity or the serenity of the occasion and even suggested that we can vacate all rooms. We had no choice but to keep quiet since we could not afford to leave the place and look for a new one at that juncture. Later we found that the ceiling was badly leaking and water dripping on the mattresses which were soiled and stinking. This manager certainly knew it bcoz the ceiling was found newly white-washed. That is perhaps why he chose bullying and shouting to keep us quiet instead of attending to the problem or even trying to help with some way out. We suffered humiliation and insults in spite of paying a hefty sum for usage of the facility. I have seen other wedding venues in Jammu, which are very good, if not better, where staff is generally very courteous. But the experience at KK Resorts was miserable and humiliating.
