We conducted our daughter's wedding in Dec 2019 at Moongate, which is a dream venue located very near the Decathlon showroom on the Bengaluru Airport Road. It has lots of open spaces and greenery and is a very scenic place to have any family event. There is a courtyard which offers a large covered space, where one can carry on without any disturbance, in case of inclement weather, The amphitheater and the Gazebo, which is a covered stage area, can be used for receptions for song and dance along with a buffet meal in open air. Even with a subtle decoration, this reception lawn becomes a total fairy land during the evening. The fig tree, the open 'oonjal' or swing, the chariot, the lake just behind the venue, the overall decor in the open space, all adds up to the beauty of the place. There are various sizes of rooms and dormitory available for guests at the venue itself. Also available are a Bride's 3 bedroom Suite and a Groom's 3 bedroom suite and the whole place can comfortably accommodate around 100 people. There is a huge parking space where 600 cars can be parked easily. All credit to the owners, Suraj and Akshata, who were present throughout the event, assisting us with a ready smile for every requirement of ours. They deserve a big clap for their proactive support in taking care of every little detail. The venue decor was beautifully done by Akshata, as per our requirement, with her little touches visible at each stage. This was highly appreciated by all our guests, who were simply floored by the exotic beauty of the settings and thoroughly enjoyed their stay in the lap of nature. Several months have lapsed now after the event, but we still receive rave compliments from family and friends, complimenting the choice of the venue and its overall ambiance. We are extremely delighted and happy that we were fortunate enough to have Moongate as our wedding venue. We strongly recommend it to anyone interested in having a theme wedding.
