We had a very disappointing experience with Amaara, their team lacks transparency and communication. We visited the property on August 17th and told them that we will be confirming our booking in the coming week. We were given a go ahead from their team to do that and they made a pencil booking. I categorically told them that we are very serious about our enquiry and just need a week to confirm, I told them to be in touch with me in the meantime in case they have another enquiry. On the 22nd, when I called to confirm the booking, I was told that there is another client who has been visiting the property after us and is on the verge of closing the deal?? This was the first time in my conversation with them where I have been told there are other “serious” enquires for our dates. The manager told me that the enquiry has been with them since a year which was a blatant lie. Why were we not told before? Their team refused to take any accountability for this and simply told us - We have multiple enquires, so we cannot be held accountable. I for one - am glad it didn’t work out with them because they are extremely unprofessional and refuse to take accountability for their actions. What we needed was a sincere apology for the whole experience, in return all we got was denial, lies and unprofessionalism. When I told the owner - Shivam, that we do not want to wait for them to get back to us, after them negotiating with the other client, he hung up on us and kept justifying his teams actions. All we expected out of them was to call us immediately after getting the other enquiry so we could have booked sooner or given us a deadline. Please keep this in mind before negotiating with them because chances are, they are talking to 20 other people ( as confirmed by their owner) and keeping you in the dark.
