Had a wonderful and a smooth experience in arranging my wedding at this beautiful venue. We were looking for a intimate wedding location and instantly fell in love with what The Courtyard had to offer. Considering the venue had different locations to allow us to set up different ascepts, it helped a great deal to manage the crowd especially considering the covid situation during the time. Akhila was very honest about the capacity and limitations of the place which helped us a great deal in planning the event with no issues. Also she constantly provided us updates on the covid situations and directed us to the appropriate locations to acquire the government approval for hosting marriage. The staff at the place (especially arun) was there to help and guide the vendors to set up the place prior to our wedding. Overall we are happy that this beautiful place will forever be the backdrop for the most precious memories of our lives.

When my brother, Sathya shared that he was going to propose to Hsiang - my parents and I were very thrilled. But very quickly the joy somewhat turned into apprehensions about how our extended family would react. Coming from a very conservative family, the four of us spent time strategising and planning how we would share this with our relatives and handle the situation should there be any strong opposition. The couple wanted to involve both families for this happy occasion. And Hsiang's family flew to Bangalore from Taiwan for the engagement. Did I mention that my immediate extended family is like 60 people? It was important that we didn't default to our usual 'function halls' in order to get the families to meet on more neutral ground and a relaxed space where everyone could mingle easily. It was intentional to not have a stage or set up rows of seating with a central aisle which invariably leads to some kind of separation between groups of people. For all these reasons the Courtyard proved to be just the perfect spot. Having this event outdoors with simple yet elegant decorations made for a magical setting. The second important thing after the location was the food. Chef Kanishka worked with me in curating the menu and it proved to be a great hit. Not an easy feat, because our family is incredibly fussy about food. The evening went as planned and I can't thank the wonderful team at the Courtyard enough for helping make this very important event a big success
