A lot of colour, but done beautifully! Reva and Kishen's wedding was a multiverse of colour and craziness. Not just that, the couple also put in a lot of thought and effort in their wedding decor and ideas. From a carefully designed mandap to thoughtful ideas like audio guest books and memorable hampers and favours, this wedding in Goa ticked all the right boxes. The planning and decor by The Wedding Tantra★ 5 was flawlessly executed, as was the photography by The Picture Patch Photography ★ 4.9

From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on March 2, 2024. We wanted our wedding to be a unique and different experience for all our guests that were travelling world over to be there with us. We wanted to bring style, class and fun to all our events. Our vision was to always have a beach sunset wedding and Goa was the perfect destination for us with the unreal fiery daily sunsets. We went for a different style for all our events from the colour scheme to the decor elements and we ensured to pay attention to the finer smaller details which we felt were the most important. For the wedding day, we wanted a mandap setup that we had never seen before and something that would look incredible against the sunset backdrop. We came across an idea which initially seemed too good to be true but with the help of our amazing planning team, they really did help us bring our dream mandap to life and it was honestly just incredible. From the decor, to the vibes to the company, it was the best few days and we still are dreaming of it all.

Unique Ideas & Favours

We are a couple who initially met in Kenya but are currently living in the UK. We wanted to encompass parts of our journey in our wedding and so we decided to have a telephone booth as our audio guestbook where guests left their messages for us on a red telephone. We thought this was a unique and fun concept and a good way to always have those messages to listen back to on an mp3 file. I (Reva) am a pharmacist by profession and I wanted to implement that aspect into the wedding somehow so we decided to do essential kits in our room hampers which consisted of your main pharmacy essentials like rehydrations salts, paracetamol, party smart capsules and plasters. When it came to our thank you gifts, we wanted to give our guests a gift that they could use forever and something that would always remind them of Goa and us as a couple. We came up with the idea to do personalised playing cards with a cutomised design of the goa beach sunset and our logo. It is a gift that would come in handy for a long time to come and we loved how it turned out. For our room hampers, we wanted our guests to experience the indian and goan culture and so we added items like goan cashews, kokum concentrate and some famous indian snacks like kurkure and parle g biscuits.

Wedding Planning & Decor: The Wedding Tantra

When looking for our wedding planning team, we wanted a team that would be able to execute and help us plan our dream destination wedding and be proactive to share new ideas and concepts. The wedding tantra were the perfect team to help us bring our dream wedding into reality. From the day we engaged them right to the very end, they have been so supportive, organised and a fantastic team to work with. I (Reva) am a particular person when it comes to the decor and smaller details and the Wedding Tantra understood our vision and provided us with the contacts and options based on the themes and events we wanted. From helping us with rsvps, to the smooth running of each event and not to mention the absolutely stunning decor elements, we could not be happier and grateful to have had them as our planners. They made sure that our guests felt welcomed and helped organise all the various details from hospitality desks to airport transfers to room hamper packing and distrubtion and not to mention followng up on guest rsvp and collating flight information. Without such a fantastic team, there was no way we could have managed to stay on track with wedding planning and they were our point of contact to help us with vendor and venue discussions and organisations. Adithya, Janice, Sumnanth, Kelly and team were absolutely phenomenal and we are so thankful to them for being so patient and understanding through the whole process of wedding planning.

Having a family who has a creative background and a mum who is a international floral judge, decor was something that we wanted to be absoutely perfect. TWT team never turned down any decor aspects that seemed difficult to execute and ensured that the floral work and overall decor was of a very high standard. The highlight for us was our wedding day mandap which when we saw it, we were completely blown away. They had executed it to the exact detail and precision that we had wanted and we really were lost for words. Through multiple presentations and decor ideas, they never stopped sharing ideas and photos until we were 100% happy with the decor elements. From curating a beautiful orchid peacock at our wedding entrance to our yellow filled sunflower pithi event, they really did bring their A game and each and every element was absolutely stunning.

Venue: Zuri White Sands, Goa

When deciding where to do our wedding, location and the general atmosphere played a huge part. When we heard of Zuri White Sands resort and Casino, we fell in love with their endless lawns and loved how they had different areas to host our multiple events. If there is one thing that defines us as a couple is our love for food. We wanted a venue where we could serve good food from different cuisines to our international guests as well as some of the local delicacies and Zuri allowed us to do just that. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly and helpful and any requests we made, the team at Zuri worked their hardest to make sure our requests were fullfilled. Planning a destination wedding was not easy and it definitely came with its own difficulties but a huge shout out to Lisel and her team for answering our endless calls and questions and for working with us to ensure all the finer details were implemented and executed. The hotel is beautiful with stunning open lawns and a lovely seaside restaurant and area for a beach wedding.

Photography: The Picture Patch Photography

When deciding on our photographers, we were looking for a team who had a unique style of capturing moments and photos. As soon as we saw the work the The Picture Patch had done we loved it all. We knew that once it was all over, we would only have our photos and videos to look back on and so we wanted a team who would capture all the finer details of our wedding with good coverage. The team at Picture Patch were incredible and made us feel at ease from the day they met us. They were happy to guide us to get different angles and shots and having seen some of our photos, we could not be more thankful to them for capturing our wedding so beautifully. We cant stop staring at the photos and are really looking forward to seeing our wedding video.

Makeup Artist: Mansi Gupta

When looking for my makeup and hair stylist, I wanted someone who was willing to be daring and playful with different colours and hairstyles but who also would not make me look like a whole different person. I knew from the moment I met mansi and her team, that it was going to be a fun few days. She made me feel so much at ease and always took into consideration the looks I wanted to go for but at the same time suggested new and different options that would work. Mansi was always there whenever I needed her for retouchs and she was always prompt and ensured I was ready on time despite some few delays. I got so many compliments about my hair and makeup and hands down, Mansi and her team killed each and every look. I could not recommend her and her team enough. She is so talented and even in the heat of Goa, my makeup did not crease or smudge on my face. If anyone is looking for a dream team for their wedding, Mansi gupta and her team are the ones for you. I can't recommend her enough, she made me look like an absolute princess and brought all of my visions to life so beautifully and elegantly.
