Some weddings are loud and larger-than-life, and then there are the ones that quietly steal your heart! Set against misty hills and wrapped in soft pastels, this celebration felt personal, emotional, and beautifully unfiltered. The bride, Diksha Vohra, an influencer with an eye for all things minimal and aesthetic, kept her bridal looks refreshingly delicate, from a fuss-free mehendi vibe to a dreamy, dainty wedding-day lehenga that felt straight out of a pastel fairytale. Add to that the fact that she planned the wedding herself and did her own bridal makeup, and you’ve got a celebration that proves simplicity, when done right, can be seriously impactful!

Meet Diksha and Kshitij

"It all began back in 2007, when Kshitij and I were in the same class in 8th standard—two kids who had no idea what destiny had quietly planned for us. Growing up in army families meant constant transfers, changing schools, and life pulling us in different directions before we ever really got the chance to know each other.

Years passed, cities changed, and life moved on. But somehow, the universe always keeps a few threads intact. Nearly a decade later, we reconnected on Instagram, and what started as a simple “hey, long time” quickly turned into endless conversations, laughter, and late-night chats that felt both completely new and strangely familiar.

Then, in 2022, Kshitij asked me to be his—and in that moment, everything came full circle. From classmates to long-lost friends to soulmates, our story is a reminder that the right people always find their way back to you, no matter how much time or distance comes in between.", Diksha tells us.

About The Wedding

Our wedding took place on December 11, 2025. It was a dream woven in the heart of the mountains! A a place where the mist kissed the treetops and time seemed to slow down. We always knew we wanted something deeply personal and intimate, surrounded only by the people who truly love and care for us. Every detail reflected that feeling, from the serene mountain backdrop to the delicate pastel décor that felt fresh, vibrant, and effortlessly aesthetic. It was less of a celebration in grandeur and more of a celebration in emotion. Simple, soulful, and filled with moments we’ll cherish forever.

P.S. Not only did I plan the wedding myself, but even did my bridal makeup by myself!

Amazing dynamic and helpful team.

Venue: The Himalayan

Getting married at The Himalayan in Manali was the realisation of a childhood dream. Finding a literal castle nestled in the heart of the mountains—a place that resonates so deeply with both of us—felt like destiny. The venue struck a perfect balance between regal grandeur and cozy warmth, making it ideal for our close, intimate celebration. Surrounded by stone architecture and mountain air, it provided a magical backdrop that felt both majestic and personal. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better setting for this perfect send-off into our new life.

Bridal Lehenga: Seema Gujral Design★ 4

Stepping into this Seema Gujral creation felt less like wearing a garment and more like wrapping myself in a daydream. The craftsmanship is truly poetry in motion—every intricate floral motif seemed to bloom right on the fabric, weaving together a story of elegance and grace. It was the heartbeat of our pastel fairytale. With our loved ones surrounding us in a sea of soft light blue, standing there in baby pink and white felt incredibly serene and special. The lehenga captured the very essence of our love: soft, detailed, and timeless. To finish the look, I contrasted the delicate embroidery with touches of mint blue jewelry, grounding the ethereal pinks with a hint of earth and sky. I have never felt more beautiful, or more like myself.
