I purchased an outfit from the Seema Gujral store while visiting India and was assured by the sales staff that if there were any sizing or fit issues, they would be fully taken care of by the team without concern. Based on that reassurance, I confidently made the purchase and even planned to order a second, heavier lehenga shortly after. However, when the outfit arrived overseas, it did not fit correctly — despite my measurements being provided accurately. When I reached out for assistance, I was told that I would have to pay for the international return shipping of an outfit weighing over 15kg, which directly contradicts what was promised in-store. For a luxury designer brand, I expected a far higher level of professionalism and accountability. The after-sales service has been disappointing, communication slow, and the willingness to assist minimal. It’s unfortunate because the craftsmanship itself is beautiful, but the customer experience has been extremely poor. I hope the brand takes this feedback seriously — as customers spending significant amounts on designer outfits deserve transparency, consistency, and support, especially when shopping from abroad.

MY sangeet lehenga was from Seema gujaral. It was a gold sequinned lehenga with a bottle green dupatta. It radiated Sufi vibes through and through. I love the way Seema makes her lehengas look heavy but they are so light in weight that you can actually dance away the night in them. Source

Cocktail - Seema Gujral - I wore a silver Lehenga that was completed with ribbon work embroidery. I absolutely loved Seema Gujral’s collection, but this Lehenga stood out the most to me. Although it had a lot of work on it, the weight of the Lehenga was super light making it the perfect outfit for a cocktail. I was able to dance and move around all night super comfortably.
