Weddings from Punjab have that blend of rustic with the modern, the blend of vivid colors with joyous emotions that are a bit of a treat to see.  Raman and Gurmans wedding is no different - right from the bride's lehenga to the maang tikka's and jhoomers on the guests, to the groom's pink pagdi to the bridesmaids and family who came in an array of pretty glam stuff. "We met on Facebook, really. Our families are far-off relatives, and so, we started talking without hesitation. After 1.5 years of courtship, we tied the knot" explains Ramandeep, the bride coyly.

From The Bride: "The decor, the makeup and the outfits - everything fit in beautifully at the end and we loved how it all came together.  Some decor items that I loved the most were the beautiful peacock centrepiece - that was the centre of attention and the pretty glass settings - I loved them the most. Surprisingly, our decorator was from Bengal, and he added some beautiful Bengali elements to the decor," says Ramandeep. "As far as the outfits were concerned, I bought my lehenga from Frontier Raas, Delhi. It was orange and pink in colour and I loved it," she explains. "I wouldn't call myself a typical Delhi bride; that wasn't my vision. I wanted to look suave, and so, I went for subtle makeup.
