After those fun carts we talked about that will forever fill our hearts with love, we have to get back to food options that needed a full-on makeover. And since many of your guests are vegetarians, these five yummy tiffins or appetizers are totally perfect for a mehendi - super light, super crispy and super simple and trust us, there will never be a bored soul out there.

Paneer & Mushrooms On a Stick

Anything cool on a stick works. From tandoori paneer to mushrooms to zucchini and bread, you put it on a stick and add a few dips - done! This one is perfect for an afternoon snack because it's not too small nor too heavy, it's just right for the occasion.

Savoury Waffles

Treat it like masala papad - in the waffle maker, add lemon + tomato + onions and the batter - once it's out, garnish with chillies, onions and coriander. It's fusion food so it might appeal to everyone! Pick up and slice and dance away!

Corn in a Cup 2.0

This one is as easy as they get and corn is India's healthiest option. So go a little crazy with corn, add masala and sev and make it Masala Corn and on the other hand, go a little Mexican with some by dunking them into lime juice + cheese+ spices + butter. Yummers!

Curry Pockets

Make these little naans and add your favourite stir-fry into their pockets. This one is a clear winner because of the fact that you can go from dry curry to wet ones and even add chutneys. You can even go healthy by adding a few greens and top them up with healthy salsa or mayo.

Corn & Cheese Balls

Corn once again makes it's appearance but this time with cheese and they are made into cute balls and fried. Try to present them sweetly in cocktail glasses or just paper cones - both will give a fun vibe! Don't forget to add a fiery chutney in between.
