Meet Shikha and James
James and I met in Melbourne during the pandemic lockdown. I had moved to the city just six months earlier, completely unplanned. At the time, strict restrictions meant we could only travel within a 5km radius. As luck would have it, James and I matched on a dating app and happened to live within each other’s bubbles. For our first date, we met at a café inside a nearby market, and that marked the beginning of our beautiful journey together.

Masseria Amastuola was absolutely stunning. We chose the venue without seeing it in person, relying solely on videos, photos, and reviews from other couples—and it turned out to be even more beautiful than we imagined. The fact that it’s also a winery made it all the more special. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate our guests’ dietary requirements, and the accommodation and hospitality were exceptional throughout our stay. We highly recommend this venue to anyone considering a destination wedding. Bonus point: they have experience hosting Indian weddings, which made things even smoother for us.
