Karina and Manaswi had their gorgeous wedding in Lake Como, a place very special to them as a couple. Meet Karina and Manaswi
Manaswi and I met in 2013 on Tinder, however we were living in different cities at the time, him in Seattle and myself in Atlanta. By the time we matched he was already in Seattle, so we never met. In 2014 he was visiting Atlanta and reached out - we had dinner and drinks and it was the best first date I've ever had! Since then we started a long distance relationship until we moved to New York City in 2018. He proposed two years later in Aspen, Colorado.

Our wedding on June 10, 2022 was surreal. 100 of our closest friends & family from the United States joined us in Lake Como, Italy for our 3 day wedding weekend. We love traveling and Como is near and dear to us having travelled there a few times before. It was the perfect spot to bring together our loved ones to celebrate!

While searching for a photographer, we wanted someone who would fit our aesthetic but also capture our love in a fun and playful way. Nastia made us feel so comfortable, was kind, and so easy to work with. We are in love with all of our wedding photos. She was able to capture every unique moment of our wedding, including moments of our guests - something we'll look back upon for years to come.
Makeup Artist: Gigi Gill
When taking a trip to London, I decided to seek makeup artists here as there were many that were skilled in Indian Bridal looks. I did a couple trials, but none of them fit my style. When I arrived back home in NYC, I found Gigi, who was based in London - and unfortunately I could not get a trial as I had already left London. However, her looks were fabulous and felt more my style and aesthetic. I had a conversation with her and I knew I had to have her do my bridal looks. She flew to Italy for the wedding and I couldn't have been happier with my makeup on my wedding day and ceremony. Not only did she do the best looks for myself and family, but she was such a big help with putting together my overall look for both events.
Hairstyling: Merita and Studio Como
Merita and Danielle from Studio Como were THE BEST! They were so fun to be around during the wedding weekend, slayed every hair style, and made my wedding weekend so special. I felt like a princess all weekend because of them!
Wedding Planning: ILES Events
Alena and Anastasia from ILES Events were the best planners we could have asked for. Planning a destination wedding is not easy - but they made the process seamless. They are so knowledgeable about the area (Lake Como) and had the best vendor recommendations which made the planning process much simpler for us. They were very responsive, which was a priority for us when choosing a planner - and were always there to answer our millions of questions. They pulled off a beautiful wedding weekend in Como and we can't thank them enough.
