Mid week blues are lifted by chilled out weddings like this one ! With an at-home mehendi complete with giggles, hi-fives and quirky placards and a wedding day which was embedded in tradition and culture, we loved the color combinations in Anshul and Takshila's wedding . Cream and pastel blue at the mehendi , and a fresh coral and lime green on the wedding day styled with open hair , shot by the The Bridezilla Project .
Meet Anshul & Takshila
Anshul and Takshila first spotted each other in college (while pursuing graduation) but "found" each other only two years after college. They had a pretty filmy story progressing from hate to dislike and then, in a matter of time, from friends to best friends to lovers. Phew!

And...the wedding begins!
From the bride: When Anshul and I started dating, we didn't think of getting married right away. It was only "our parents" who popped the big question and got into preparing for the wedding. As a bride, I am three things. Dreamer. Believer. Achiever. I knew I wanted to surprise myself at my girl-turns-bride moment. Usually I am pretty casually dressed, but for my bridal look I wanted something thoughtful, fresh and not the usual red look. So I planned my looks and with the right people, I had the all come true :).
All of our vendors did a great job. Each team needed a lot of patience with a dreamer. like me :P
