Okay so you have been spending hours "Pinteresting". But Pinteresting is not planning right? Well it can be - meet Vihal Mehta. Vihal Mehta, a fashion stylist by profession also runs a fashion and interiors company, V Heart Art while her husband Rajiv Cherian is a banker. Both are free-spirits by nature and love a good DIY as long as it's done well and looks simple yet alluring. That's why they created a beautiful inspiration board and used individual DIY elements to enhance their wedding from a sweet one to a stunning one in minutes. So when we asked Vihal her thought process, she gave us a low down on all the cool things she included in her wedding that spoke to her heart. From lanterns to colourful ribbons to a sweet gift to her husband - here's the Pinterest inspiration (on the left) and her version of it(on the right), albeit with a slight twist to suit her. The wedding was a beach-side one in Goa and we are lovin' it!

From The Bride: "I've always wanted a simple DIY wedding and refused to pay a bomb for anything extravagant. I knew the wedding needs to be free-spirited and fun, just like me and Rajiv. Luckily for me, my husband and me shared the same vision for the wedding - we knew a beach-side wedding with a neat hippie vibe suited us best. Open spaces are fun and we are celebrating it with our loved ones so the more simple, the better. We also had the most amazing decorator (Francis) in Goa who understood exactly what we wanted  and executed our vision perfectly. I shared my Pinterest board with my decorator and it being simple, he made sure it was done well. But mostly, it was all about keeping it in our budget - trying new things and making sure we get a big effect with minimal DIY-ing. In a way, my theme is "The Big Goa DIY Wedding", " adds Vihal.
