Mukasa Style & Events - Planner

We were searching for a decorator for my sister’s wedding function. After having a few meetings with some known vendors, we were not at all satisfied. To put it frankly, we were very uncomfortable with their approach, attitude and completely commercial outlook. Then, by the Grace of God, we came across Samia and Kashif – Team Mukasa! Oh wow, what a refreshing break from all the negativity which was surrounding us. It was the first time we realized that here are 2 people who are listening to us, empathizing with our concerns and responding in a manner which is inclusive – like one which we discuss with family members. The emotional connect, the ownership, the comforting attitude, the patient ears which they gave us were more than enough to help us make our decision. And boy are we glad! As I write this review, I feel words might fall short of what their work truly deserves. They had brilliant ideas, were highly responsive and focused on perfection, always delivering leaps and bounds more than expectations. Mehendi was the first event (an evening one), which featured beautiful greens and purples along the poolside. The highlight was the butterflies décor which I had seen for the first time. The overall ambience created an awestruck first impression on our guests. Haldi event on the next morning had a sunflower theme with beautifully decorated pathway, stairs, stage and hall. The attention to detail (from floor to ceiling) and the colour combinations were spot on. The entrance gate decor was also commendable. Sangeet and Engagement functions in the evening were enchanted with an LED screen and entrance passage that were perfect for guests to take pictures. The couple couch beside the stage was beautifully decorated. Wedding Pheras the next day were in an open lawn beside the lake with a neat, tidy, elegant, and beautiful Mandap, umbrellas, seating arrangements, and tree-arch decor. The event sign boards were also pretty and precise. Best part of the function was the perfectly timed colour shots during the Varmala. Reception function (the same night) was the best of all, with crystal decor, an outstanding gazibo, and a mirror aisle that every guest enjoyed and clicked pictures on. To put it simply – Samia and Kashif are exemplary professionals with a sensational level of creativity and wonderful attitude. They have made our event a memorable one. We highly highly highly recommend Mukasa.

I would like to share a brief review about Mukasa. I was in complete awe when i finally saw the deliverables they produced on the final event days. The team is highly responsive and have a drive for perfection. They always wanted to deliver one step ahead of what i expected from them. My first function was Mehendi which was a night event and they totally nailed it!! They had lit up a whole lot of green area in such elegance and eliteness that it totally blew my mind and gave a perfecf first impression to the guests. The lights on the pool, the butterflies on the plants and the purple couch were the stars of the night! The next event was Haldi which had a hue of sunflowers all over the passage as well as the stage. I loved the yellow hues coming out of the hall ceiling as well with such cute hangings! I really liked the entrance gate decor as well. The team literally copy pasted what i had in my vision, which is truly commendable! My next event was Sangeet and ring ceremony. This night was an enchanted one in true sense. The LED screen and the entrance passage were total winners. People enjoyed clicking pictures in the beautifully lit passage. It was a memorable evening! The next event was the wedding pheras and this was my favourite! The mandap was out of the world!!! It was just what i wanted and it was so neat and tidy and elegant and beautiful, that i couldnt have asked for more. Each and every element, be it the beautiful umbrellas, the elite seating arrangements, the beautiful tree-arch decor, everything was so picturesque!! All the event sign boards were pretty and precise! The last function was reception but it was certainly not the least!! This was the bestest of all! The team had put in tons of efforts in arranging and implementing the crystal decor and i was in a total shock, that i couldn’t believe that this is for me! The gazibo was outstanding!!! The mirror aisle was an added element which every guest enjoyed and clicked pictures upon. I would like to thank and acknowledge the team - Samia and Kashif for the extra ordinary services, support and exceptional level of efforts that they have put in for making my wedding a memorable one. They are so soft spoken, professional adults that every conversation with them was so smooth that it never felt overwhelming. I am blessed to have such friends-cum-family and i look forward to stay in touch always! A big 20 on 10 to them!! Hurray!!
