Likhita tells how they met, in a typical millennial way, "I and my husband met via Facebook. He had just come to Bangalore from Jammu to pursue Engineering and I was pursuing Law in Bangalore. It has been 8 years and our relationship is as strong as it started. Destiny made us meet".

Our wedding was a mix of both South Indian and North Indian culture. There was Deverasamaradhane (Brahmin ceremony) and there was choora ceremony(Punjabi Ceremony). We chose Jammu as our wedding location as it is his hometown. We planned our wedding by ourselves from decoration to list of events. It was beautiful to see how both the families accepted and respected each other culture.
