Pastels for night weddings? Well, it generally feels like an unusual combination but Ananya & Viraaj totally rocked it. They coordinated their outfits to the T and looked stunning. Ananya's floral bridal bun and hints of pink and peach in her wedding lehenga were as pretty as it comes. Studio W- Photography & Live Stream Experts shot this wedding with candid perfection.
Meet Ananya & Viraaj
Ananya tells us how their story was a typical millennial love story, "We went the millennial way and met through Tinder in 2015. After dating for a year in Mumbai, we knew we had to make this last and so we were in a long distance for the next three years. Viraaj proposed with the sweetest idea when I visited him in Chicago in 2018, and we decided to get married in 2019."

We wanted a simple wedding with just our closest ones. We chose pastel hues for everything from our wedding cards to the wedding day decor and our outfits, made sure it wasn't too much work for people and they treat it as a weekend to party and celebrate the occasion. There were no dress codes and no adherences, it was a celebration and everyone could come however they wanted. Lastly, we did out social media bit by capturing the wedding shots on instagram with the hashtag and an account with the name of VSaidYa.

Samiya Shaikh (makeup) with Vinnie (hair) were the most understanding when it came to what I wanted and very supportive of all my ideas too. Everybody loved every look and I was very happy with how each look turned out to be! Not just makeup but the hair were fabulous for each outfit too. I'm glad we selected Samiya and Vinnie for the wedding, it was worth all the time and effort.
Studio W - We had an incredible time working with the team at Studio W, they were extremely accommodating and the best we could've asked for. Being picture awkward, they made us feel at ease at every stage of the wedding and made sure we were our best selves for each shot.
Fleuron Decor - The wedding venue looked splendid. It was different, sombre and the perfect backdrop. By staying away from traditional setups, they made sure it was a memorable set up to remember for even our guests.
Chamee and Palak (wedding) - The dream to not wear the traditional white was actually realized with the lehenga they designed and I could not have been happier with it. Izzumi Mehta (sangeet) - Izzumi was patient and super accommodating with all our concerns, delivered a beautiful end outfit that everyone loved and we'd like to thank her for heading to every small concern to make sure I was completely satisfied with my sangeet outfit.
Bubber Couture (wedding, mandap and sangeet) - Working with Aanchal was a great experience. She understood my personality and the vibe I was looking in my outfits and helped me translate that into some great designs. She was open to taking inputs from me allowing us to create some unique outfits. The finishing, the fit and feel of the outfits were top notch making me a loyal customer.
